We had such a wonderful experience with Dr.Hossenlopp and his staff (Mary & Shelly). My elderly mother was extremely anxious about her appt. but from the moment we walked in we were treated with such kindness, patience and compassion. Mary went above and beyond to make my mother feel comfortable taking the time to reassure her and never making her feel rushed. It is rare to find a medical office where every member genuinely cares about their patients, but that is exactly what we found here. Professionalism, warmth, and understanding. I am incredibly greatful for the for the exceptional Care my mother received, and I highly recommend Dr. Hossenlopp (& staff Mary and Shelly) to anyone looking for outstanding eye care combined with genuine compassion. Thank you for treating my mom with such kindness and dignity!

Never bad service from the front of the house to the back of the house! Staff is very friendly and always willing to explain something should you not quite get it. Make sure you have your copies for yourself which is always a bonus. My only issue is a 45-minute wait, but then when are you going to not wait at a doctor's office. But very happy from the exam to the consult with the doctor! If you need a new eye doctor Largo location is great and so is St Pete. It won't disappoint......... Other than the wait...... loll

I was really impressed with how Through this exam was. They did the most detailed exam I ever received. Not just that. They showed me all the test results so I could actually see how I was doing. They took the time to explain everything they were showing me. They even explained the laws about senior drivers’ eyesight rules. I really felt good about everything they told me. For once, I felt I could really believe what they recommended, and explained to me.

Dr. Hossenlopp and team (Holly, Mary Ann, Shelley and Kathleen) are all absolutely amazing! Dr. Hossenlopp is very thorough. He takes time to explain the variety of tests and how he uses them to monitor eye health. The whole team is absolutely wonderful and I could not be in better hands!

We moved to Florida and found Updegraff word of mouth from a friend. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Modern equipment and great care. Dr Updegraff is very nice and knowledgeable. I’ve been seeing an eye doctor as long as I can remember and he is the best. We highly recommend their practice.
