I had the best care I could possibly know. I’m a retire and I have heard and had my share of negative comments but WOW I am sooo glad I chose to come to UTMB for my hip surgery. Dr Fredickson has the best side manner and is very patient and knowledgeable about his procedures. I had Dr Chris as my anesthesiologist and he was wonderful and gave us all the information we needed. I had three great nurses, Catherine Kayla, and Rona. Great nurses that took very good care of me. The surgical suite was clean and comfortable. The registration was very fast and I did not wait very long and the two representatives were very helpful.

my mom had her first colonoscopy here and the whole experience was way better than we expected. the staff and doctors were all so kind and made everything feel comfortable from the beginning. there was also a volunteer in the surgery room (I wish I remembered her name) but she was the sweetest. her personality stood out so much and she just made the whole situation feel a lot less stressful. we really appreciated how patient everyone was and that no one rushed us out. you can tell they genuinely care about the people they’re taking care of!! we will recommend this hospital to all friends and family

I recently had surgery at this hospital. All the people were amazing 🤩. They were kind, efficient and professional. I especially want to acknowledge two nurses who took care of me. Mr. Michael and Mr.Justin. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and the informed. They cared for me like I was a relative. They were knowledgeable, they checked in frequently. Ms. Clarissa was wonderful as well. Thank you for his many wonderful people. My doctor, Jeffrey Smith, went above and beyond as well.

I recently had to be admitted to the UTMB league city campus hospital for a procedure and my stay there was for four days . My stay there was such a great experience the staff were all so caring and attentive from the nurses, nurses tech, dietitians, housekeeping , all the surgery team all the different doctor were all so friendly and very informative.. I almost didn't want to be discharged. But I missed my love ones 😂

This was my first visit to this location as I was assigned this location for the procedure I was having due to them having better availability. From the moment we walked in the surgery center doors, to the moment I awoke in recovery was an amazing process. Every person I came in contact was more than helpful and willing to go out of their way to make sure all my questions were answered and that I fully understood the procedure. The doctor came and spoke to me beforehand and even his staff during prep was awesome. I recommend this facility for sure for their kindness and awesome communication and follow-up.
