V Eye P Las Colinas

I've been using V Eye P for nearly a decade. I get a contact lens evaluation in addition to standard glasses and extra eye health scans. The standard of care is top notch. I feel comfortable during the screenings and vision testing, I even bring my child here. As a person who has had to wear glasses or contacts for 35+ years, I'm also so happy with the care they provide in helping me choose my glasses. This is the first place I've ever gone where they've actually given honest opinions on how glasses look and provide unexpected suggestions that I love resulting in me actually wearing my glasses the majority of the time instead of my contacts.

They truly treat their patients like family. The doctors and staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely take the time to get to know you. Over the years, they’ve gone from being our eye-care team to feeling like friends. The level of care is outstanding. They use high-tech, state-of-the-art equipment, offer excellent frames and products, and never make you feel rushed. They take whatever time is needed to answer questions and explain everything thoroughly. Any medical or vision-related issues we’ve had have always been addressed and resolved, and we’ve never been left with an unresolved problem. We’ve since moved much farther away, but we still drive nearly two hours to come here because we trust them that much and believe the quality of care is worth the trip. After 20 years of experience with them, I can recommend V Eye P without hesitation. Top-of-the-line eye care, fantastic people, and a practice that genuinely cares about its patients. I had a great experience at V-Eye-P Las Colinas. Dr. Patel was beyond exceptional and aided me with my eye issues. All the staff there are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I highly recommend them and plan to continue all future eye care with them. I appreciate how fast they got me in same day.

Dr. Patel is an amazing eye doctor, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. Her staff, including Chantell and the other ladies in the office, are just as wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and provides outstanding customer service from start to finish. Just wanted to share my experience. I made an appointment to update my glasses and contacts prescription at V Eye P. The main reason I quoted on the phone for the appointment and the only reason I needed to go there was for an updated contact lens prescription. It was important (to me) that I have some contact lenses for some important business meetings in DC the following week and I had lost my extras and let my prescription lapse, that’s on me. But, I have glasses, and I told them I was calling specifically for contact lenses multiple times. I was quoted $119 on the phone. I set up an appointment on my only day off right beforehand and when I showed up they said that it was actually $304 and that the original quote was only for the glasses prescription even though I mentioned the need for contact lenses multiple times. Mistakes happen. I’m sure it was a miscommunication and the staff was very polite. However, I didn’t appreciate the bait and switch and it left me with little recourse before my flights. Luckily, I discovered that you can get a contact lens and glasses prescription made at 1-800 Contacts for $20. No joke, it took me five minutes and I was able to get them overnighted to me the next day before my trip. This story is just for people in my position. I was in a tough spot, told to pay $304 after being quoted $119 and I felt obligated to do it in the moment which made me feel uneasy. I didn’t know how easy it was to do online for $20, and I’m not an ad bot or whatever. Anyway, consider your options before you show up and are told you owe more than you were originally told. I’m glad I didn’t go through with the appointment and been told afterwards. No ill will towards the establishment, just didn’t have a great experience.
