Dr Sisson and his private practice were great! I drove from Moses Lake to go here. Now it is not the same since it got bought out by Valley eye care. I have been going here for 20 plus years and right away it felt impersonal. They also charge an $85 fee for contact lense fitting. I have been wearing the same contacts for 20 plus years and have never paid a fee. They said they couldn't release my prescription without paying the fee. Very disappointed in their business practices and will be seeking eye exams elsewhere. This new ownership fees like big corporation not customer first. I miss Dr Sissons business and the amazing team he had.

I’ll preface this by saying I rarely write bad reviews about anything! This is my second time seeing this vision clinic. My first experience wasn’t that bad but that was quite a few years ago. This time however has been an absolute nightmare. I could probably write a book about it at this point. The eye exam was fine however probably the most expensive eye exam I’ve ever paid for! The professionalism of the front office staff is a joke. They say they’ll call you back, they don’t. They say they’ll email you your prescription, they don’t. Unless you have the time or the patience to be reminding them of what they need to do, don’t waste your time. The only reason I booked here was because they had the soonest available appointments, everyone else was so far booked out. Needless to say, we won’t book an appointment here again. We ordered contacts over 2 weeks ago and still haven’t got them!

My mom went here and received the incorrect prescription and didn't notice for about 4 months. She began to have declining vision and became concerned. After seeing a new optometrist she realized that not only was her glasses prescription incorrect but she also has cataracts and has for quite a while which was never mentioned. Thankfully she is no longer wearing her glasses as she sees better without them and is scheduled to have cataract surgery asap. This was not a good experience at all.

Been going here for 20 years. New ownership has ruined this place. Everyone that is not Dr. Sisson was terrible. First assistant spoke to me like I was a toddler the entire time - never introduced herself or anything. Made me feel like cattle or something. Gals up front did not know how to print my prescription or accept my payment. Very bad experience. Probably won’t come back.
