I took my mom here a couple times and the experience was exceptional. Dr. Medina took his time and did a thorough exam. He was very patient and kind to my mom. Ray was also very gentle and caring. I highly recommend going here if you have any issues with your eyes.
TOP OF THE LINE. STATE OF THE ART. The office is beyond efficient. The staff is excellent. Great customer service. Great technicians. Dr. Dredge kind, caring, patient and has a sense of humor! He’s also very very good at what he does. My eyes are happy. Thank you!
Offiice great, esp DrMedina, front +remote office, optician Paul, + DrYoon (post 10/2/26 srgry) + Surgical Scheduler Sarah has been great! But beware Ashley, only downside; verrry lacking customer svc mentality; which seems, lately, to be generally declining more and more in the more recent progressively lacking custome care arena. Sad change in healthcre tech evolving days! Not a good thing. But other than Ashley, overall good experience.
Don't waste your time! I was a patient for 30+ years with Dr. Lisa Lintz. She was an amazing doctor and the practice ran smoothly and the people who worked in the office were trustworthy and kind. After Dr Lintz moved out of state I started seeing Dr. Kandaval. The whole office began changing and I have not been there since 2024 when both my husband and I were so unhappy with the long waits and attitude from almost all the people we encountered at Colvard. I do remember 1 stand out guy who initially took me into the room for evaluation......he was excellent and was working there when Dr Lintz did (I wish I remembered his name!). Today I received a bill in the mail for $10 which is from September 24, 2024. Dr Kandaval and the office staff knew we were going to leave Colvard because of how poorly it was being run. I just called the office and advised them of the situation. I spoke with Manny. I told him I was not going to pay anything from 2 years ago and that I should be billing their office for the time my husband and I waited around to see the doctor. I told him I paid the balance in FULL when Colvard initially billed me on November 7, 2024. I wrote a check for what I was billed ( and this was AFTER they received my insurance dollars so they knew exactly what the balance was), and the office cashed my check and I have never heard back from them until now (1 1/2 years later). Really really bad business practices. On my husband's last scheduled visit in 2024, he was waiting so long and when he asked the person at the desk what was happening, they looked at him in an odd way. They said they would be right back and someone came out to apologize to him that Dr. Kandaval was not there that day and they made a mistake in scheduling him on that day. Dr. Kandaval did call to apologize to my husband, but this was the last straw for him as well. It used to be so nice there.....it is a shame that since Dr. Lintz left the practice and when Dr, Colvard passed away in September 2024 everything about this office changed for the worse.
Thank you Colvard-Kandavel Eye Center for a wonderful experience. Dr. Kandavel has excellent bedside manner—he is pleasant, warm, and very thorough. His staff was welcoming and accommodating from the moment I arrived. They were able to get me in the same day for an injury, which I truly appreciated. They also went out of their way to accommodate additional needs during my appointment. I would strongly recommend Dr. Kandavel and his team!
