Needed new prescriptions for contacts and glasses. Verified my insurance with them with 0 co pay for eye exam. I brought in my contact box for them to see BC fit. When finished they let me know that for contact prescription I would need to pay a fitting fee of $215 to $289. (in 50 years of contact wearing I've never heard of a fitting fee for current contact users). I asked them to just give me the new contact prescription for the contact I currently wear and was told they can't give me a contact prescription without me paying the fitting fee. I've now used my insurance paid 1 eye exam for the year and have to either pay their fee of go to another doctor for a full exam (which is half the price of their fitting fee) and get my contact prescription, contacts and glasses. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews on yelp!!! Was I presumptuous to assume I would be able to get a prescription for contacts and be able to buy contacts after the exam (which they told me was covered by my insurance). I will say Everyone is really nice while they tell you their extorsion rules as they apologize and try to say it's your fault... so nice that I think having disgruntled clients is a very common thing... poor employees

I had a great experience at Vansuch Optometric. The staff were amazing from reception to the doctor—everyone was friendly, professional, and very helpful. They explained everything clearly, helped me decide between contact lenses and eyeglasses, and gave great advice on choosing my frame and lens coatings. The whole experience was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience at Vansuch Optometric. The staff was very friendly, professional, and made the entire visit smooth from start to finish. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure all my questions were answered. I never felt rushed, and the exam was very thorough. The office is clean, organized, and welcoming, which made the appointment even more comfortable. It’s clear that they care about their patients and take pride in providing quality eye care. I would definitely recommend Vansuch Optometric to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and attentive eye doctor. Great service all around!
I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon for an eye exam. Upon my arrival, Dr. Vansuch's staff at the front were extremely welcoming and patient to answering my questions as a first time patient. The eye exam was done with care. I then met Dr. Vansuch and he was very kind! He ensured I got the right prescription for my eyes and gave me helpful insight on vision. The entire experience was great! Looking forward to continue my routine eye exam :)
Really bad experience, I received a call to pickup my glasses but they needed to be installed in my current frames, I went on a Saturday and the gentelman at the front asked me if I wanted to drop them off or wait, that it would take about an hr. I expressed I could not drop them off as these are my all day glasses and I needed them. We were rudely interrupted by the man who would be doing the work that he didn't have time to do it because I didn't have an appt, to which I responded no one told me I needed an appt, the receptionist scheduled one for the following week, I came back and he asked if I was dropping them off and I said I would be waiting, he said ok it will be about an hr. I went to my car to wait, then 1.5 hrs later I went to check in only to find out they had just started working on them and needed another 30 mins. Pointless to make an appt, horrible service by the person in the glasses area.
