I had an excellent experience at Village Vision Care. From the moment I walked in, the staff was extremely friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful—they made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Lee was outstanding. She was more thorough in her examination than any eye doctor I’ve ever visited. She took her time, explained everything clearly, and made sure all my questions were answered. You can tell they truly care about their patients here. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality eye care in the Wicker Park area.

I really appreciate the way that the team at Village Eyecare go above and beyond in helping me get the most out of my vision insurance. Not only did I learn that because of my unusual prescription my insurance covers my contacts as "medically necessary," but the team was also really helpful talking me through the process and the timing to make sure insurance wait times didn't leave me unable to see. They've also been great with my son's eye care.
Excellent customer service. The ladies at the front desk were very knowledgeable and did a good job explaining my benefit breakdown. Cindy is awesome! She helped me select a new pair of frames, offering suggestions based on my facial features
Bless this business seriously! I had some eye work done at the doctor down the street and my eyes were so extremely sensitive to light. I was driving and it was unbearable! I didn’t get their names, but there was an Asian young woman and a Latina young woman at the front and they helped me get some temporary sunglasses so I could drive safely! I literally asked God while I Started driving please help me because I didn’t have any sunglasses. Will definitely come back To this location!
I was able to get a last-minute appointment for an infected eyelid (stye). The receptionist and doctor were both very nice. The doctor was able to give me a prescription for antibiotics and she also scheduled a follow-up to introduce preventative therapies.
