Great mall, its an older building but very well kept. It has a good selection of stores and is staying busy as of July 2026. This mall unlike others in the DFW area seems to be more of a mall for the local community than one that brings people in from a long drive away.

The mall has changed a lot cent's the 90s. When me and my friends was teenagers we met a lot of females. Those was the good old days. Tropical Cabana good place to get any kinds of ice cream to walk around the mall and enjoy it.

I happened to visit the mall on 8/19/26 with my granddaughter. After walking around the dead mall with maybe 40 people or so we made a stop at the playground which had a total of 10 kids are less. It was very accommodating and the kids were being kids playing without any issues. All of the parents were told by security that they had received noise complaints! From who? They mall was dead. They act as if we were at Chucky Cheese! If they do not want children to play then remove the playground area!

My kids had a blast running over, under, and around a giant book in the play area. A great place to escape the heat or the cold.

Went to the Barnes and Noble, and so should you- if you have someone that's hard to shop for. They have something for everyone, and their Lego sets beat Walmart and Target prices. Better variety too.
