I wasn’t the patient, but I brought my 87 year old grandmother in for her appointment and to pick out glasses. My grandmother uses a walker due to an issue with her foot, and when trying to have initial eye check (the pressure test) she was having difficulty with the chair. Kyle was very patient, kind, and held her hands for stability as I pushed her chair in for her. Dr. Lucy O’Connor was also a real pleasure, her patients and general bedside manner was astounding, watching her kindness with my grandmother made me so happy. And finally Joe was extremely helpful when it came time to pick out glasses, my grandmother is not a very decisive person and I really appreciated the time Joe took to help her and the way he worked with her to find the right pair. These three staff members were absolutely wonderful, and I can’t express my appreciation for them enough. The lady at the front desk (whose name I did not catch) was not very personable. I also watched her scrolling on her cell phone as the office phone was ringing while all the other staff members were busy assisting others. I don’t know if she was new but she was not friendly, and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. I myself am a medical receptionist and found her demeanor and lack of patient assistance to be subpar. But like I said she may have been new and the absolutely lovely work from the other staff members deserves full recognition.

Every Employee was kind, I could understand everyone's English the Dr. was thorough, I got the results I expected, I was left alone to chose my own frames, not pestered to purchase what they thought was right for me. When I had the frames I chose, they were incredibly helpful. & it was a much lower price than I expected. I was forced to switch Eye stores bc our store unexpectedly went out of business. I'm glad they did.

Im not sure who would ever rate Vision works under a 5 someone who is just a angry person I guess. I had an appointment last week and ive never meet so many friendly nice sweet girls who are genuine and makes you feel good . The store itself is very clean and organized with great lighting. I am a middle aged man who seems to find fault in everything but not here. I will now come here for my eye needs instead of the other Vision work stores not saying the other stores were bad but nothing compares to Hamburg location. Thank you guys. DONNY .

A 5 star experience at Empire Visionworks McKinley! Each staff member we interacted with was professional and friendly. Upon arrival for eye exams and glasses appointments my husband and I were immediately greeted and kept informed of next steps. Everything ran on time and we felt like each person took the time we needed to answer questions and help us. I especially want to thank Mr. Rizzo because I truly benefited from his experience and expertise and his great personality made the appointment fun! Prices here were reasonable and we got in on a great deal for sunglasses as well! We will definitely be returning for our future eye health needs .

My eyewear professional, Debbie, was absolutely the best with helping me get my glasses, make sure my prescription is correct and she went over and above for me. me she's fantastic! I recommend them highly! Thank you
