I admit being skeptical of how a remote examination would go, but was extremely pleased. The testing was very thorough and the results were clearly explained - more than previous in-person exams had ever been. I will have no hesitation in going back for future eye exams.

We’ve always had a very positive experience here. On several occasions the staff has even gone above and beyond- helping forward a prescription to another state, making free adjustments on glasses purchased elsewhere because we couldn’t find someone else in town to do it, and most recently filling out a DMV vision report on an immediate basis so I could renew my license. We’ve always been able to get appointments in a timely manner, have found frames we like in stock, and they’ve worked seamlessly with our insurance.
This is the worst visionworks location I have ever been to. My glasses broke and I stopped by to see if they had a frame that could fit my lenses or to order new glasses… I was told that they can’t put my lenses in any frame other than the original brand/style. And that I could not order a new pair without an eye exam, and the next appointment would be a week an a half out. I get they’re busy but what is someone supposed to do when they cannot see/ drive/ do anything without glasses and they have absolutely no ideas to resolve the issue other than wait until I got an exam with them weeks out. I ended up going to BJ’s Wholesale club and Rob was able to easily put the existing lenses from my broken frames into a new pair without issue. Do not go to vision works
I am using this store for more than 5 years now to get my glasses, and overall eventually I usually get a good product. However today I had a very bad experience with one of the opticians Angel. I came in for an adjustment, and explained what I would like (a smaller nose piece and bend it slightly outward). He was agitated and aggressive right from the beginning, and when he said that he doesn't have a smaller nose pad I told him OK I'll order one myself just adjust it. Eventually he got so agitated that he just threw my new glasses into the case and said he won't be serving me, I should just wait for the other optician. So I did wait for the other optician, who has quickly found the right size nose pad and also adjusted them appropriately without much issues. I find the behavior of the optician who ended up refusing to help me (in front of several other employees and customers) unprofessional and unwelcoming.
If it were possible to give zero, I would. There is no onsite doctor here, but they don’t tell you that before you arrive for your appointment. They sent so many texts and emails ahead of my eye exam (this is one of the only place that takes my insurance, so I don’t really have options), but never ever mentioned that there is not an actual doctor.
