3 years ago I had a great experience. So i went back. Aftet my exam, the associate told me to pick a frame up to $275. So, I picked a frame- rather than explaining options for lenses. Sales person just said $210 when telling me the total. When I questioned she started telling me all these features that I never said I wanted or really needed. Very basic reading prescription doesn't require thinner polycarbonate lenses. Then when I said I only wanted a coating- she huffed and puffed. Then said it would be $105. I asked how with insurance snd my plan said $30. She said "I don't care what your plan says. My system said this." I ended up leaving. If I wasn't required to use my entire benefit there or lose it I would have gone elsewhere. I ended up having my insurance call the manager about how the coating should be $30. The manager made a call and I was in fact correct. When I went back weeks later, to pay my $30, I saw other associates doing something similar. So beware if you go there. They just seem to put things in and not explain anything first. That shouldn't be. Its okay to make recommendations but trying to get people to just pay without explaining is poor practice.
