They always make it easy to be a customer. I broke my glasses playing with my daughter. Took em in and the nice lady there put a new screw in and I was out of there in 3min. Didn't charge me. Another wo derful experience

About two months ago, I went in for an eye exam. The staff was friendly, and the appointment itself went smoothly—I was in and out quickly with no issues. However, I later found out that they only allow 30 days to use your prescription to purchase glasses. At the time, I couldn’t afford to buy new glasses right away, and by the time I was ready, I was told the prescription had “expired.” I don’t understand this policy at all. From what I’ve seen, most places honor prescriptions for one to two years. Because of this 30-day limit, my insurance won’t cover another exam until next year, leaving me to pay out of pocket. Times are tough, and policies like this make things unnecessarily difficult for patients. It’s frustrating and honestly disappointing. I won’t be returning and will be looking for an optometrist with more reasonable policies. If you’re considering this place, I’d recommend asking about their prescription expiration upfront—or choosing a provider with a more standard timeframe.
My Dad and I were so traumatized by the experience we had with Rose that I decided to switch insurance from VSP to another provider. This experience with Rose left a bad impression about VSP insurance. Now, I get my glasses from Costco through another insurance provider. Plus, I get the best service as an Executive Member and do not have to deal with bitter VSP employees like Rose. Employees like Rose should never work in a customer service position.
Easily the best " buying expensive glasses" experience of my life. Christine and Jackie actually made it FUN! And even better, they did what they could to make it affordable! But the most important thing is they gave me honest feedback. It's rare to be happy when someone tells you that you look like an idiot in those glasses, but they did (not in those words) and then helped me pick out ones that actually look GREAT on me (and were cheaper, too!). I can't say enough good things about these eyeglass angels but they rock, and I will forever be buying my glasses here.
How is this woman still employed here? Her name is Rose, and beyond showing up to work looking like she’s in pajamas, she is easily the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in any business. I gave this location two chances, and both times she was outright miserable and disrespectful. Her behavior alone is enough to drive customers away. I’ve decided not to spend another dollar at Visionworks because of her, and I’m genuinely shocked management allows her to treat people this way. This will be escalated to corporate.
