I had a wonderful experience with Visionworks. I truly appreciated their diligence and commitment to making sure I had the exact prescription and frames that worked for me. Even though my glasses had to be remade several times, I was always treated with kindness, patience, and respect throughout the entire process. They genuinely stand behind their 100-Day Guarantee and did not stop until everything was exactly right. Excellent customer service and care! It is rare to find a company so dedicated to making sure their customers are completely satisfied!

I went for the second time to VisionWorks in May of 2026; the first time was summer of 2024. You've heard that old saying, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me? I should've listened to my gut. In the Summer of 2024 I had decided I wanted Progressive lenses because I was using computer glasses at work and glasses for driving when needed. So I had my exam and picked out my glasses. They had to make the Progressive lenses over 3 times and they still weren't right so instead of trying for a 4th time, I just went back to my 2 pairs of glasses. Fast forward to May of 2026. My husband and a friend of mine were going on and on about their new multifocal contacts that was allowing them to read at all distances with there contacts so I thought why not give it a try. I set up my appointment for visionworks; different location than in 2024, and I had high hopes. I should've known from the moment I stepped foot in the store that I had made a mistake. I don't think the staff there really cared what I wanted. They didn't take into account that I currently wear 2 pair of glasses, for computer and distance or what I wanted the contacts for. I felt like I was being rushed out of there. I got my trial lense and although they seemed to work a little, I really could see better without them. So I called the office back after my trial period to just get 2 glasses prescriptions (cause I had no luck with progressives before). one for computer and one for distance. This took over a week and me calling in 3 different times to finally get those prescriptions, even though I was told that they would call me when the prescriptions were ready for me to pick up. I just hope these prescriptions are right. I will be getting the glasses made somewhere else. Sometimes you get what you pay for! I will NEVER go back! Can't see clearly at VisionWorks
Ashley was very kind and attentive to my eyeglass need. I appreciate how she dealt with a difficult then transitioned to assist me smoothly and with a smile. The Dr was very thorough and asked several times did I have other concerns before I left his chair. Thanks everyone!
As always this establishment has been a blessing to my household of glasses. The personal touch of treating everyone like family instead of a customer or patron. They show concern for the persons more than concern for their pockets. The Mgt and her staff are a fine well oiled machine that refuses to breakdown or have hiccups. If they do have any problems, they fix it in such a professional way that it's like there was never problem at all. Definitely a 10 of 10 across the board!!! VisionWorks Hamburg, takes it personal to make sure your Vision Works!
Tried to drop off my wife’s new glasses to be repaired to the Nicholasville road location. The left lens at the top corner is cracked where the frame tightens around the lens. It’s very evident that the lens was not the correct size for the frames by the way the crack has formed. It is certainly a manufacturers defect as the glasses have not been dropped, scratched or otherwise abused in the handful of times she’s worn them. She typically wears contacts and the cracked lens was not noticed until recently and the crack seems to get bigger with temperature fluctuations. The manager claims they won’t replace the lens because a warranty was not purchased. The glasses were picked up on September 9th (92 days ago). I only mention that because I was told they have a 100 day satisfaction guarantee, but it sure doesn’t seem to be honored in this particular case.
