I had a very disappointing experience at Visual Health in West Palm Beach. I went in for an appointment while also trying to resolve an insurance billing issue on the phone with my provider. During my visit, I observed extremely unprofessional behavior from the front desk staff. When my father approached the reception area to ask a question, he was spoken to rudely and told to sit down in a disrespectful tone. Later, when my insurance representative requested to speak with staff to clarify a billing issue, I approached the front desk to pass along the request. Instead of helping, the staff responded in a hostile and dismissive manner, raised their voices at me, and repeatedly told me to sit down. The manager/owner was present during the situation and did not intervene or attempt to de-escalate the issue. After this, my wait time felt unnecessarily prolonged. When I tried to file a complaint in person after my appointment, I was not given a proper opportunity to do so. Overall, I felt disrespected and dismissed as a patient. I hope the clinic improves its customer service, communication, and professionalism in the future.
