Walmart Vision Center

I purchased one pair of glasses at a location near my workplace for convenience and later purchased a second pair at this location which is closer to my home. Due to financial constraints, I was unable to purchase both pairs at the same time. I have since decided to return both pairs of glasses, as I have chosen to continue using contact lenses instead. One of the purchases was made using vision insurance, and I was informed that I needed to wait until my insurance benefits were reinstated before I can purchase again. I was advised that, because insurance was used, the return for that pair must be completed at the original store where the purchase was made. This is because that location submitted the insurance claim and has access to the necessary claim information, while this location does not have access to those insurance records. The staff at both locations were professional and helpful throughout the process and clearly explained the return procedure to me. I’m thankful for them explaining the process. Next time I decide to go with glasses this will be the place. Thank you girls for making this process happen. Will be back soon!!

I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at the Happy Valley Walmart Vision Center when I went in to return my glasses. At first, Lana and Maria told me I had to return the glasses to the original Walmart Vision Center where I purchased them. That was incorrect. I had to pull up Walmart’s own return policy and show them that glasses could be returned within the 60-day window and that the return could be handled at any Walmart Vision Center location. What bothered me most was that instead of helping me or verifying the policy themselves, I was given incorrect information and had to argue just to get them to follow Walmart’s own policy. I do not appreciate being misled, especially when I am simply trying to complete a legitimate return. I am still dealing with this issue, and I am getting very frustrated. My vision benefits have still not been reinstated, which means I cannot go somewhere else and get new glasses until this is corrected. I am busy, and I do not have time to keep chasing something that should have been handled properly the first time. The staff and management were not helpful, did not seem willing to accommodate the situation, and made the entire process much more difficult than it needed to be. Because of this experience, I will never go back to this location again. At this point, I just want my vision benefits reinstated so I can move on and get my glasses elsewhere. This was completely unprofessional and disappointing. Customers should not have to argue, pull up corporate policy, or fight to have a basic return handled correctly.

Went not that long ago to get a new pair of glasses and have to say it was such a good experience all around. They had a very nice selection of glasses. The service was so prompt and so curtious as well as affordable. I'd gladly go again to the vision center at Happy Valley Walmart.

A screw came out of my new glasses and have had the hardest time making the time to get them fixed. Went into Walmart vision to get other things on my list and remembered the vision support was there and Miss Desi helped me out so quickly! She was nice, informative and got my sunglasses rockin’ again. Thank you Desi!!
