WORST EXPERIENCE IN 33 YRS OF EYECARE:
Been wearing contacts/glasses for 33 years and been to many Walmart Vision Centers all across the country. DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE. The Doctor here is an ego maniac, extremely rude and unprofessional. The front desk person is extremely kind, but the wait was also unacceptable. Waiting 45 mins for a scheduled optometrist appointment is excessive, even at Walmart. I was lectured extensively (I have a college degree, own a business, and am an Ex Professional Firefighter and Nationally Registered EMT) because I chose to refuse a “puffer test” for Glycoma. I have refused this test my entire life, and have only been told I needed to sign a waiver that this service was offered for liability. I explained that I am not at risk for this at 46 years old, and have anxiety around it (it blasts air into your eye at close range) and simply wanted an eye exam for contacts. I was then told that I couldn’t be serviced (refused service after waiting 45 minutes due to ego maniacal insistence on taking a test that’s designed for elderly people.) This guy is a troll and disgrace as a “doctor” that epitomizes everything that’s wrong with the medical field in general. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND CHOOSE ANOTHER WALMART VISION CENTER. If you choose to go anyway after reading this…YOU WERE WARNED. You expect sub-par care at Walmart Vision, but you don’t expect a petty tyrant, mad/fraud scientist that makes you wait close to an hour and sends you out the door because you hurt his delicate ego 🤦♂️🛑
