Walmart Vision Center

Dr Schroeder and the gals that helped me today were awesome. One of the best experiences I have had with a routine exam and ordering my glasses. Thank you!

I have been a customer for about 10 years at the Walmart vision center in Spencer, Iowa. I am very pleased with the optometrist, B. Schroeder. I am also very impressed with Rocio, the Vision Center manager. She is very pleasant, considerate of her clients and answers thoroughly any questions I have. She has readjusted my new glasses 3 times and has never hurried through the procedure and always says to be sure to come back if my glasses still need more adjustment!! Rocio is a young woman who knows the meaning of customer service. While I was at her station, she had a call with a complaint. She patiently and calmly answered the person on the call. I am impressed with her performance at the store and on the phone. I'm a woman in my 70's and so appreciate good customer service. I really don't appreciate the self checkouts. I put in 60 plus years in the workforce. I really don't want to work for Walmart. Sincerely, Jean

David in Vision from Spencer IA is amazingly helpful! He helped with a fax request and gave us information to help us while we were out of state needing lenses. He cared and really did go the extra Mike. Truly a great employee that loves the customer and wants them to return. Thank you David.

I bought new glasses that I loved....but they started getting stress fractures in both lenses. They replaced the lenses. It happened again, more stress fractures on both lenses. They replaced the frame and lenses as it was clearly a design flaw. It happened again on the brand new glasses, the same design . Obviously it was a flaw in their design. But because I didn't pay for the warranty, they won't fix this situation and let me get a different one. That's ok.... I won't be back.

When I picked out my glasses frames I had my prescription faxed over to the vision center as well. After signing the release form for my prescription, I asked the lady if that was all I needed to do. She said yes. So I left. I called back later and the woman on the phone told me that I have to have a fitting before my glasses can be ordered. I was frustrated because they did not tell me that when I was there in person. I live an hour’s drive away, but now I have to make another trip. They could have gotten me fitted and my glasses ordered that same day. They are incompetent and unprofessional.
