I had a very disappointing experience with the Walmart Vision Center. When they changed my glasses, my lenses were damaged from being overheated during the process. When I brought the issue to their attention, they refused to fix it because I didn’t purchase lens insurance. I never bought lens insurance because I had used them before without any problems and trusted their service. Unfortunately, this time there was clearly an issue caused during their handling of my glasses, and instead of trying to help, they immediately dismissed responsibility. I was told the manager would call me, but she never did. I had to call them myself, only to be told “no” again without any real discussion or attempt to resolve the situation. They didn’t even try contacting the lens manufacturer or exploring any possible solution. As someone who works in customer service, I understand mistakes can happen, but good businesses try to make things right. The lack of accountability and poor customer service here was extremely disappointing. I will not be returning.
