Melissa and Missy are WONDERFUL!! I have had more experience with Melissa and I really like her... Very friendly, takes the time to be sure I understand what I'm getting!! I'm not really impressed with the young man who is fairly new there. Wanted my glasses cleaned and I got them back almost as dirty as they were when I gave them to him... He doesn't seem to care so much about the position he has. I've noticed he hangs out in the, I call it the back room even though it's off the side....

Melissa was extremely snobby and lacked basic understanding and empathy for her customers. We waited for service for roughly 5-10 minutes before she came out. She had an attitude with me and my boyfriend the moment we walked into the store, simply browsing frames. She assumed the reason I walked out was because I was “trying to keep the cost down”, after I repeatedly informed her the extra costs she was trying to throw onto my bill were unnecessary and unreasonable. Additionally, the location had limited options, despite having 2 walls filled with frames. I will surely be bringing my business elsewhere, and I highly recommend you do the same!
I have really mixed feelings about this walmart. Most of the employees are very helpful and even fixed my sons very ramshackled glasses, however, one particular employee I have had a couple of run ins with. I stopped by to have my glasses straightened, this employee told me they were fine and that my ears were uneven and there was nothing to be done. He didn't even try to fix them, frustrated, I left and came back a different day and another lady fixed them no questions asked! Recently I got a pair of glasses (in April), I had purchased a pair of glasses as well as the warranty because in my profession my lenses scratch easily. Last week I stopped and asked if I could get my lenses replaced, the same employee told me that my lenses were not covered because the scratches were from improper care. I explained that I try to care for them properly, but in my work I occasionally do have to clean them on my shirt to see. He wouldn't even discuss it with me, muchless check if I had a warranty.I told him infront of another employee that he was quite rude and unhelpful. I went to Walmart in Waterville and they were very nice and ordered new lenses no questions asked. Not only did they replace my lenses my frames broke when putting the lenses in and they replaced my frames for free. I would have happily done this at my home store but I will NOT deal with this employee again.
Super great people! Helpful, caring, and knowledgeable staff. And they Smile!!
I have been getting my glasses here for years and both Avery and Missy have waited on me. They both are super friendly and do a great job at their job!
