Newport Eye Care

First time patient. Even though I’ve taken my mother in-law to her apts, it was the first time for myself. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Heather at the front desk is great, she has helped me with rescheduling/scheduling my apt, getting my records and is very kind.

Personable front check in. Tech who took me back for initial exam never introduced herself and made minimal conversation. Seemed distant and uninterested which was very different from staff from previous visits. Great interaction with Dr. Jones.

I have been a customer for years, as well as my kids. While in the exam with my son the lady who comes in before the eye doctor had told me I could qualify for disability because of how blind I was. Excuse me? Highly inappropriate. I went to eye glasses center for my son after the exam to pick out glasses. Mary who works in the section was one of the rudest people to deal with. No help. No patience. Nothing. She sat there with her hand on her head as she was annoyed. She was absolutely no help. I finally got to the point of just telling them I was going to go somewhere else and that I did. I walked out then a few minutes later I needed to grab his prescription so I went inside to grab it and Jamie at the front desk told me I needed to check out next time. I explained that i will not be checking out when I’m treated poorly. I have taken my business to Walmart and they are great and not to add they are way cheaper then Newport eye care!

Treated with professionalism and courtesy. Warm friendly environment. Dr Jones and her staff are wonderful.

Everyone in this office is always professional, friendly and kind. They care about your comfort throughout the process. The waiting areas and exam rooms have a fun decor.
