Was planning on buying a couple pairs of glasses yesterday (10/9) but the guy up front was extremely rude and dismissive. Darryl or something? I won’t be coming back anytime soon if this is the type of unprofessional people they employ.

Please do not go here- i have not recieved confirmation yet, but it seems as though this company or at least midland branch is falsifying documents and medical records for people they see in order to get more money. Please read my story to hear more. I am REALLY hoping the manager can help me out next time she is working. I had an appointment on July 16th 2022 for a contact prescription, paid $110; my physical paper prescription that the doctor wrote out snd handed to me says that date, 7/16/2022, and ALSO has an expiration date of 7/16/2023, so 3 months and some days from now. I went to buy some contacts yesterday off of their website; (which is actually through 1800-contacts, but when you use walmart site WALMART gets commissioned so that's why the doctors will ask you to use their website and even claim you can't purchase contacts anywhere else) -and I was met with a representative reaching out to me telling me 1. I could only use acuvue oasys contacts 2. did NOT give me a reason, they just told me that's what my prescription says (even though it does not say acuvue or any other brand anywhere on the paper) 3. Told me i can only buy a 12 pack of contacts for $168, instead of getting my 90 pack for $48!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I called the center today and asked about it and asked the boy working on Sunday, April 2nd 2023 at 12:07pm and asked him. He told me that I would need to get my prescription updated because the last time I visited was December 1st, 2021. WRONG. I have only been the walmart vision center one time. That was July 16th 2021. My prescription says it, my bank account says it, my text messages with my boyfriend and my aunt on that day talks about it, my phone navigation system history shows it, and I'm sure if you check the cameras on december 1st, you will see I was never at the vision center. I asked the boy on the phone what I could do and he said I would have to come in for a new prescription and spend another $110 on them. I told him over snd over again my written prescription with this doctor's signature says I have 3 and a half more months to go until a recheck. I will be coming in to the store tomorrow on Monday and speaking with the manager, or a doctor. If they hold to their story then I will absolutely take up my aunt and fathers' offers, who are both lawyers and can thankfully thankfully refer me to someone pro Bono. Not sure what I would do without them and my family honestly. This is some horrible, scamming stuff. It's so sad they prey on people they see as low income who usually can afford lawyers for big corporations or against doctors. What they don't know is we have already sued two midland doctors for malpractice, and I will not stand here and allow a gigantic company to walk all over me or low income residents or honestly ANYONE who trusts them with their health.

Damaged/gouged the lenses on pair of glasses while reinstalling or removing lenses and tried to hide mistake from me and avoided me until I walked into back room to speak with a manager. Glasses were blurry when I tried them on so I could tell something suspicious happened or lenses were installed incorrectly. Failed to mention that lense company discontinued edge rolling on lenses before ordering. Try Bay City or Saginaw locations or another business.
