Doctor is very knowledgeable and very caring. Eric is absolutely very helpful. My 83 year old mother was very thankful because such a short notice my mother got in to see the doctor and got glasses. Also he cares so much and discussed about other issues he discovered while her visit with him. We are very grateful for Doctor Mark Manary!

They were extremely quick at getting me in for my appointment. Staff members were extremely courteous . The Dr. was extremely knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on contact brands specifically for my eyes ! Definitely would come back for another exam when it’s time !
Do NOT book an appointment here. I came in early for my 3:30 appointment and spoke with an older woman with glasses and long brown hair in the rightmost desk who from the start was behaving as if she didnt want to speak with me. I asked if I could submit an insurance card before my appointment and she sighed at me and nodded, when I gave her my phone with the photo of my card she just looked at me with a dead expression and kept on complaining about how she couldnt see it. this resulted in about two or three instances of me zooming in on a specific section of my card for her, and handing the phone back to her, only for her to still complain she couldnt see it. I understand being frusturated but she refused to submit my insurance because she couldnt find the information on her own. I have used this card previously at wal-mart vision center in my home town so I am confident it is submittable. When I explained somewhat embarassed that my only other insurance was through medicaid so it had to be that card, she snapped at me that “we dont take that here” It was such a catty remark I had to leave and inform them that I couldnt afford my appointment without insurance and she just smirked at me. I don’t even know how to react, I’m not trying to get anybody in trouble but it was such a horrible experience I’m going back to Pearl Vision.
My prescription expired a week ago and my prescription doesn't need changing. But they want me to go in and sit through an exam and be exposed to everyone there. I'm a high risk individual, I'm not going anywhere that isn't absolutely necessary. I have found that other eyeglass providers are happy to help using the current prescription, just not Walmart! A little bit greedy and not at all responsive when someone is high risk...
Avoid if you are unsure about what your insurance benefits will cover. I stopped by a few hours ago to see if I could pick out a frame and have my prescription glasses done. The rep verify my insurance on his desktop and gave me a limit frame coverage of $70 when my insurance actually covers $140. Also said I should have an out-of-pocket expense depending on the strength of my prescription. However, my insurance told me they cover 100% after my $25 copay. He really wanted to cash in some extra money...! Is this the way Walmart trains his employees? Pity
