Service staff good, no issues with doctor. Paid everything, got glasses, no issues. 3 months later, walmart sent me a bill for services. After going around with walmart billing, service center, and vision insurance, walmart said I still owed 150. Vision insurance coverage said I was owed 25 by walmart and local staff said I was paid in full. After 2 more months, walmart was going to turn me over for collections, even after all documents supplied. I just paid and have never returned to the vision center. Walmart will make up numbers, and it's up to the customer to prove it... even when they do, walmart is still right. Stopped doing business there, as I don't need suprise billing after I have already paid. Much happier and no time wasted with shopko optical. I pay more, but after the experience with walmart, it's less hassle. 10 out 10 would not recommend.

The employees are always professional and nice to me when I ask them to clean my glasses.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, they are also doing a great job keeping up with the Covid guidelines and safety measures. The Doctor was extremely helpful, answered all of my questions and I could tell he cared about my situation, I did not feel rushed. I also do not have insurance right now and they did not make me feel uncomfortable about that, which has happened to me at other optometrists. The payment was affordable and the service was great I will be back.
The Dr. here insisted I was wearing a certain pair of contacts and scolded me for not discarding them after 2 weeks of wear. I called my usual eye dr to find I was wearing a different brand and they were 1 month lenses (like I was trying to explain at my appt.) Glasses arrived late which is understandable since Covid but the lenses were not cut correctly and had to be sent back. Once they arrived I went in to switch them out, the lady who "helped" was extremely rude and seemed inconvenienced by anything I had asked. (My glasses were not fitted when I picked them up and needed adjusted.) I also asked for an extra glass case (the Walmart brand cheap plastic one) she asked me why and then told me I had already received one and I only ordered 1 pair of lenses. I asked again--reminding them that I am only back there because of their mistakes. She rolled her eyes and said fine and went to get me the case. The assistant who helped the Dr was very nice and also the gal who helped pick my glasses but I will definitely not be back.
I'm a middle-aged truck driver and it took me several attempts to get routed to this Walmart for an eye exam due to damage done to my eyeglasses so I was in desperate need. However I also have a medical preventability for wearing a mask. The young man who was the doctor's assistant informed me that I would not be seen for my eye exam without wearing a mask and I told him that I was medically prevented and he told me that he didn't care that he would not see me without wearing a mask. So I put on the mask and the symptoms that I Endure are not evident immediately. But the young man was rude hateful mean condescending and very impatient! I would never go there again as long as I live even if I was completely blind and they had the Cure! They're taking this pandemic too far and I wound up becoming overheated and lightheaded and nauseous but they were able to get me to adhere to the Mandate which apparently is all that matters. Even the sign outside the store sad essentially unless medically prevented. But he said that that does not apply to the eye clinic that they have stricter guidelines. And I guess my inability to drop $488 all at once was a great annoyance to everybody so I was just giving my eye exam results and told to go to another Walmart somewhere on my route. Like I said I will never return I will never patronize never ever never.
