Walmart Vision Center

I had a fantastic experience at the Walmart Vision Center in Toms River. Paul Roser was extremely welcoming and kind from the moment I walked in. I needed an adjustment on my glasses, and without hesitation, he immediately took care of them. These are very expensive glasses, and he handled them with such care and professionalism. He fixed them perfectly, was honest, and gave me great recommendations regarding my glasses. He was truly amazing and very helpful. The entire staff at the Vision Center was also warm and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My visit in April 2025 was fine, I had my eyes checked for contact and glasses. Paid and ordered 12mths of contacts. Insurence paid for some I did pay in full @ $250. Well 4 mths later I get a bill. It appears we didn't charge you correctly will a bill for $100, I got this invoice again in Nov. 2025. So they hardly paid for anything. I'm going in the see what happened? May have to make an appointment as they are always busy when I'm in the store shopping. Beware

Gave me the wrong prescription for my eyes. Did not sell a wipe for the glasses with the glasses case, or spray, and had me try to find a pair of glasses after they dilated my eyes.

I was honestly skeptical about an eye doctor in Walmart but I couldn't be happier. I have terrible anxiety and the dr. was so kind and non judgmental. Thankfully my eyes are healthy other than needing glasses. I picked a great pair instantly and the gentleman that helped me was FANTASTIC. Super helpful and let me know of all the options I could choose from. All of the men that are there to help are so kind! The woman who handles insurance is so sweet and personable as well. Would absolutely recommend this location.

First visit to Walmart Vision Center. As a walk-in, I was helped immediately, with courtesy and professionalism. I was seeking an eye exam and a new prescription for eye glasses. The woman who handled my insurance and preliminary testing was thorough, pleasant, and re-assuring. Dr. Patel, who performed the eye exam, was excellent. She was patient, caring, highly skilled, and thorough in her explanation through each phase of the exam. Mike, the optician who helped me pick the right glasses for my two prescriptions, was friendly and informative. There was never a sense of being pressured or steered into buying anything. I felt good about my selections, and the options were more than adequate. I highly recommend Walmart Vision Center of Toms River Rt. 37.
