Dr. Kales is absolutely wonderful. I was able to explain to him what’s been happening with my vision and he immediately knew what was wrong and how to help me. I haven’t been able to see out of my glasses for the last 2ish years. I got my new glasses yesterday and they are a breath of fresh air. I can finally see and see better than I ever have before. I was also able to get contacts which I have but haven’t used because I didn’t feel comfortable with my vision before. Now I can wear my contacts and feel confident in my ability to see without bringing my glasses just in case. Highly recommend. Dr. Kales is a great listener and genuinely cares about being able to help his patients.

Dr. Kales is very kind and his staff is great! Clean location, friendly crew, and Kales sense of hunger is refreshing. He also had a cool set of eye instruments and answered all my questions for my new prescription. Thanks again Dr. Kales!
Took my wife too the Vision Center for new glasses, but the Optometrist sent her over to have cataract surgery to correct her eyesight. Fortunately she didn't need surgery and this cost her money out of pocket that need not be spent because the surgeon sayed she only needed new glasses. So going back to the Optometrist at Walmart and got the prescription finally for the glasses and they were not covered by insurance until next year. Well if the Optometrist would have given my wife the glasses the first time we would not gone through this. But unfortunately we are both seniors and get tired of being run around. Unfortunately she paid a lot and her health insurance would not pay for the glasses. So on Valentines day I walked over to Walmart to pickup her glasses to surprise her. I walked in and two ladies were helping 2 other customers. One asked me to wait, no problem. Standing with the aide of a cane standing for over 10 minutes. I grabbed a chair and told the ladies I just came in to pick up my wife's glasses and was told just another minute like she sounded rude. After almost a half an hour. I was finally helped and guess what? It only took her 30 seconds to retrieve them. So instead of one of the ladies telling her customer this will only take a minute. I waited a half an hour in a lot of pain because I'm a disabled Marine service connect and in a lot of pain, all the time and waiting around too long is not a good thing and Happy Valentines Day! Walking back home I was Happy to finally give her her new glasses. This place is very unprofessional. The time and money this place cost us was a lot. Plus my wife did not have new glasses in time for her driver license renewal, thank you very much. All she wanted was some new glasses that's all and look what happened.
I was disappointed with my visit and will not be returning. From the moment I entered the exam room, I felt uncomfortable. Dr. Kales asked me to put my phone on a chair and turn it off; he used an impolite tone; several comments felt unnecessary. I instructed the receptionist not to file an insurance claim, as I intend to seek care elsewhere. I will not be recommending others to this place.
Seems most staff members were extremely rude and impatient including doctor himself. Considered walking out and making an appointment elsewhere. I agree with the other review stating a 15-20 minute appointment has never made me more uncomfortable.
