If I could give no stars I would have !! I’ve been going here for years when Dr Hans was there he was the best . I went September 2025 as I was brought into room with roller chairs I fell off the chair even though I was told to be careful the tech disregarded me and held chair for other customers one being my husband . Her response was I told you the chaired rolled as I was sitting on the floor not even quick to help me up like it was totally my fault . The dr came in saying you need help getting up I’m Like no I’ll do it my myself . Hurt my back , neck and knee . Filled out report but Walmart came back saying it wasn’t negligence on their part . Reason I am writing this now was because I went into store today to get my glasses fixed the tech told me they didn’t offer insurance anymore which I was not told at the time and if I wanted to purchase a new frame after going back and forth with no result I said thanks for nothing . My husband had returned his glasses in Oct 2025 because the Dr did not give him the correct script so I decided to call my insurance company after telling them last October to make sure to let them know we returned them . Well they never did and charged my insurance company . My insurance company called Walmart vision and they are retuning the money they sent them . Just an FYI to be careful if you return eyeglasses and make sure they credit your I sure company . I would also recommend never going back there again as I never will nor will I ever step foot in that store in Middle Island again !!!!!!!!!!

I had been going to this vision center for over 15 years but it is not the same since Dr Han left. I was charged an extra $40 without warning for contact lens mono vision fitting that I was not charged for in previous years. Ridiculous up charge. I will never go back. Staff is helpful but need to improve communication with repeat customers. Ask for prices before you go. Got the same exam at COSTCO for $40 less. They were great.
I had a contact lens eye exam at the Walmart Vision Center, and Dr. Proscis was amazing! He took the time to walk me through how to apply and remove contact lenses and made sure I felt completely comfortable using them—especially for my big day. Super patient, kind, and professional. Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful experience from the whole staff. Dr Han is very polite and funny. Moises was extremely helpful from when I walked in to make my appointment to the purchase of my glasses. Moises went out of his way to make sure I got the best deal with my insurance and helped me pick out two pairs of glasses. I also got a personal phone call from him, letting me know my glasses were in. Definitely go see him if you need glasses.
I was here May 2024 for an eye exam for contacts and glasses. I've been a customer of Dr Hans for many years, but was told that he was no longer with Walmart Vision. I saw the new optometrist instead. I called today to get a copy of my prescription but was told that they do not have my reading prescription for me to get progressive lenses. When I saw Dr Hans, he was always thorough and gave me my prescription with both distance and reading. I was told today that I would have to pay again for another exam 6 months later. This is not acceptable since they did not give me a thorough exam to begin with. Make sure when you go here for an eye exam, you get a thorough exam. Or better yet, go to a competent optometrist.
