This was by far the best eye exam I've ever had. Dr. Shafer is incredibly kind and excellent at his job. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, was pleasant to talk with, and went above and beyond the basic eye exam to check my eye muscle strength. If he hadn't, I wouldn't have known I was straining my eyes while reading, and could have created more damage in the long run. If it was possible, I wish he could be my primary care physician! Will definitely be returning here for all future eye exams, and couldn't recommend it more.

This was my first visit to the Moran eye center. Worked with a girl named Amy, she was the most pleasant, polite customer service rep I have dealt with and many years.I originally had trouble getting my insurance to go through for a new pair of glasses. Amy spent nearly an hour calling the insurance company for me and trying to find out why. I feel that she went above and beyond which is very rare these days !
The older male eye doctor made several inappropriate “jokes” during my visit. Not professional. He also “joked” about humiliating male customers and how his “joking” insults would go over their heads. Very creepy/unprofessional behavior… Don’t work with the public if you can’t at least try to be respectful to people.
The Walmart vision and glasses center is great place providing great customer care and service! In November 2020 I received my first pair of glasses ever!! Besides the fact that I always wanted my eye vision to be perfect, excellent or whatever they were, everything was incredible they made me feel very comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation! I am not a prescription glasses person at all!!! The doctor was great, very knowledgeable and informative! He prescribed me glasses that are important that I use for reading and see my smartphone clearer, it's like HD!! I went the cheap route because I was hoping I didn't really need them. I wish I would have exchanged within the 2-month period but no worries I will come back soon and upgrade my glasses. I think they will have to recut the lens but I'm all right with that so I can feel more comfortable wearing them. I'll have these things for a long time. Maybe?
Okay here's a picture to justify why I'm not satisfied with my glasses and they act like it was no big deal that was nothing they can do
