Went for my yearly contact exam and eye exam, got everything I needed. Everybody was so kind and helpful. Lizzy was the young girl who assisted me. She was so kind, helpful, and informative. Any question I had she had an answer and helped me with my form. Will definitely be back! She also help my grandmother, and mother weeks before and had a great attitude. :)
I picked glasses that fit great right off the bat. Long story short, the doctor (who is amazing) had to get me different lenses because what he wanted to adjust me to was making me sick. I left the new glasses there for them to put the new lenses in and when I picked them up, they had disfigured them due to the lack of professionalism and training on the "tech's" part. The assistant or tech (whatever they're called to fit glasses after exam) measured my PD wrong 3 times until I insisted on what I KNEW what was right and they do NOT know how to adjust glasses. They were clearly warped and disfigured and she said "oh they appear straight" when anyone with eyes could see how crooked and warped they were. Her fix was to bend the ear pieces very far which has put pressure behind my ears because the young lad who had switched my lenses clearly doesn't know how to not stretch frames or do this properly. The glasses hurt and I'm not going back there to be told they're fine when they're not the ones wearing them. From 32 years experience with glasses, measuring PD with a gaming tablet isn't ideal nor accurate either. Granted after 3 trips my script is finally correct, but the frames aren't wearable and they basically mutilated them. For the 5th year in a row, I'll be using my script to order online. I'm bummed because I truly loved the frames I paid for, but I can't wear them and don't want to go back to the same rude techs to assist me. I'm almost certain there aren't many requirements anymore to work in the vision center because they royally ruined my frames. They're plastic frames mind you. They fit perfect before I needed my lenses switched, and now they slide, pinch and hurt anywhere there's contact. Again I must insist the doctor himself is fantastic, it's the people in the front that don't have a clue how to fit for frames and they're not professional at all. I know I can't be the only one complaining about this woman either. The young man that does the lenses is in his 20s and he knew he warped my frames because he stayed in the back until I left. He needs trained. My frames are so wide now, the fall right off 🤦🏼♀️. Good luck to those getting glasses there recently. My experience was awful. Edit: I took both my frames and my child's to a respected optometrist office in town. They were able to salvage my child's frames but it took a lot of work as the frames weren't just lopsided but bent frontwards on one lens and earpieces horribly bent inwards. Now for mine, they truly are warped because when walmart put in my lenses they didn't heat up the frames and they literally stretched them very far outwards. The assistant at optometrist was able to get mine wearable (though still noticeably stretched). I'm glad my child's were fixable. I still have to use a pair I ordered online.
Dr is amazing one of the best. The most of the other staff is rude and ignorant and act like it’s such an inconvenience for them to help you and do their jobs and also like to argue with you over everything and get smart.
