Walmart Vision Center serves patients in Hixson and the surrounding part of Tennessee from its office at 5764 Highway 153. Both exams and glasses are handled here — exam rooms and an optical shop share the same address. Listed services include glasses & frames, contact lenses, contact lens fitting and sports & safety eyewear. Insurance accepted includes Davis Vision, Superior Vision, Spectera and Humana (12 plans in total). Care is provided by Christina Pish, OD. Jeanne is amazing. She went above and beyond for my mother. Mom doesn't get around well and when we went to pick up her glasses it was raining. I couldn't just drop her off at the door as she is a fall risk and there was no parking open near the building. Jeanne brought her glasses out to her and checked and adjusted them without a second thought. That was priceless to me.
I picked out and purchased frames from Walmart for the 1st time today. Jean helped me find the perfect frames for my style. She also called to get my prescription and verify my insurance. She was so thorough checking and double checking before submitting my order. Thank you, Jean, for being so attentive and patient! What a great experience! I can't wait to get my new glasses.
This team is amazing (Kelly &Jean)!! I had a very pleasant experience with them. The pair of eyeglasses that I got (frame is Ray-Ban) was reasonably priced for the great quality and they have a variety of brands to choose from. JEAN is awesome, she was very helpful and so transparent with the breakdown of the cost. It only took 3 days and I got a notification for pick up. I would definitely recommend them. 5-stars!!
I went somewhere else for my eye exam, but brought my prescription here for better priced glasses. I had a wonderful experience with the staff in the Vision center! They were very helpful and explained everything in a way that I could understand! (1st time having to get glasses) I will definitely be coming back! They had a great selection from very low budget all the way to Ray Ban, Oakley, and Costa.
I had an excellent experience getting new glasses with progressive lenses tonight. Kellie was so good. She was nice, patient, Honest and pointed out things I hadn’t considered. She was able to Work with my insurance plan to make sure I was getting the best deal. This was 1/3 the price of the other place down the road that we have always gone to & I like these much better! I’ll be back with my family to the hixson vision center in Walmart to see Kellie again!
