EDIT: Dec.2024. Again. The ladies at the Vision Center in the store were very nice and assisted me as soon as I called them. I had no idea they would set up your appointment with Goldstein so that was a nice convenience.......EDIT: November 2023.... Dr. Goldstein is the optician in Walmart. It is an independent practice so you do not have to use Walmart at all for the glasses. But A: Dr. Goldstein and staff are good to work with and they use state of the art equipment. And the ladies in the Vision Center have again displayed excellent customer service skills. I have no issues in recommending both of these. I have used Costco for glasses numerous times and I believe Walmart gives me the same service and products................ (Original) I've been here once before and just came back for a pair of glasses after getting my eyes examined by Dr. Goldstein's office in the same complex. I neglected to get the name of the lady helping me but I was impressed and she assisted me until I was ready to make a decision and a selection. I'm sure I'll be satisfied with the glasses I've selected. I won't hesitate in coming back in here.
First I purchased glasses for my granddaughter. The protective coating cracked on them. She didn't have them a year. 6 months ago I purchased glasses and had the same thing happened to mine and mine broke. Glasses are junk.
I was very specific at why I needed glasses. I can't read my computer screen, and I spend a lot of time on my computer. So, the doctor prescribes me progressive lenses, little did I know that these lenses are not meant for computer reading all day... I still can't see, now it's worse. Minus 1 star for lying to me to make a sale. The visit with the eye doctor is a virtual visit, where u talk to this guy on a screen, ok, not a super big deal, but yeah, you should make it known that there is no doctor on site. Then, the TV is turned up so loud, the people in the waiting room can here both you, because you have to almost yell for the old guy to hear you, and the volume is so high, everyone in the waiting room can hear the doctor..... Then , the doctor doesn't listen to me, talks over me, then has the nerve to tell me it's time to grow up and get some glasses, after I repeatedly told him I had glasses before..... Who the hell are you, to tell me to grow up, be condescending, and then, share my personal medical history with the entire waiting room, like really, who do you think you are? That was one of the worse experiences I have had in my oh 40 years or so of doctor visits I can remember. He was sure to mention more than once that I have insurance so I might as well use it.... I couldn't care less about insurance, I just wanted to see man, that's all. Would never go back and would never recommend. I almost forgot, they are sure to remind you that if you cancel your appointment same day you get charged 25 buck, that's fine, SOP, but then, to have the doctor make you wait for over 30 minutes, and then sit there talk over you, not listen, and tell me about your dog in the background.... get real.
