Walmart Vision Center

Went there today and both employees were very friendly, attentive and knew what they were doing. I'd just had yearly eye exam at Envision in Marion and Envision wanted to charge me $700 for 2 pairs of glasses! At Walmart vision center in Abingdon, i found 2 pair of nice frames and was able to order sunglasses and regular glasses for $130 for both!!! There's a promotion until end of July where you can get a 2nd pair of glasses at 40% off price including lenses. They have many frames to choose from starting at $10 a pair to $150.

Jeff will take the time to explain what you need and why. Very friendly and out of his way nice. Would recommend 1000 times over, but Jeff is the man to see.

Rude people. A while back went here. Dr. Smith came across very rude talking about himself non stop for the entire 1 hour long exam, but wont listen to you. Very un Doctor like. They made a mistakes by making me wait forever for a prescription like 3 weeks. I understand mistakes happen, but they never apologized for it. Went to pick it up, waited 20 minutes at the desk with nobody there, while waiting I said hello to the man waiting in line behind me who looks away and ignores me. The receptionist comes out from the back and says "I'm eating". No apologies. I have been nothing but a gentleman during the entire process and get crapped on for it. Never raised my voice at them and watched my manners. The old women working the glasses center is a also insanely rude, I began to look around to see if I'm on some hidden camera show called the Twilight Zone. What is with this place or is this how the culture is in Abingdon, VA?

Awesome people, very friendly. I don't know why the other reviews said rude. That wasn't my experience at all. I highly recommend. Beautiful stylish glasses at affordable prices.
