I recently had an eye exam at Walmart Williston VT. with Dr. Beeson, optometrist. He was the best I 'd have ever met. For some reason my eye exams were always difficult and I would have difficulty to adjust my new rx. He was very efficient and when I put the new pairs on ( both far and near) they were great although there was a big difference with my previous rx. First time, I dont need an 'adjustment' period. This is my 2nd experience with this Walmart. So far I learned that you need to pick the associate who knows about the right frame for a person and also check several things before you pick the right one for you. I will have to change my reading frame because the pattern on it appears like I have a dirt on the glass. It's sad I didn't notice that when I tried. Briefly, with all my experience until this time, if you find the the right rx and pick the appropriate frame, Walmart at Williston is a right option to get your glasses.

Quality care often shows up in places we don’t immediately expect. At first glance, an eye doctor’s office located inside a large retail store might not be what people associate with highly personalized care. My recent experience at Walmart Vision in Williston, VT, however, completely changed that assumption. After a couple of experiences that didn’t quite meet my needs, I decided to try this office—and I’m very glad I did. Booking an appointment was easy, with availability just a few days out. When I arrived, there was no waiting line, and the new-patient paperwork/process was handled quickly and efficiently. Dr Werner was exceptionally caring and professional. She took the time to review images of my eyes and explain measurements in a detailed and gentle way, inviting questions and making sure everything was clear. The level of attention and care was truly impressive. In fact, if I worked at a medical school as an administrator, I would have invited her to submit an application as an adjunct professor; she would be an exceptional candidate. Ordering new glasses was just as smooth. Even though I brought my own frames, the staff made the process straightforward, and the glasses were ready in less than a week. Most importantly, they were perfectly on spec. Highly recommended for anyone looking for attentive, professional eye care combined with efficiency and convenience.
Don’t ever go here unless you wanna pay full price for not a proper eye exam! I was way overdue for an exam and they didn’t even dilate my eyes but was expected to pay full price! Prior to me seeing the eye doctor I overheard him and an a coworker stating that they were hoping everyone would no show so they could go home early! Not thorough or professional, will never be going back and will be telling people the same.
Got charged full exam rate when half the testing equipment was broken, no apologies from the staff or doctor. Try Shippee eye care instead, have heard good good things about them and they are who I'll be trying next since this Walmart doctor doesn't feel the need to perform an entire comprehensive eye exam while charging for a full exam
Friendly staff knowledgeable pleasant I have been going there for years and never have I had a complaint thanks Nhung for all your help
