Look for Lacey. She is amazing. Very intelligent, good fashion sense, helps you find exactly what you need. I used to work in an Ophthalmology office and I can say Lacey over at Tumwater Optical is outstanding at what she does. Highly recommend!

Went in to order contacts and they didn’t carry my prescription in stock. Lacey fulfilled my order, and notified that it would be 3-5 days to receive. I was okay with that, but Lacey, out of pure generosity or eagerness to please, sent me home with a few trial pairs to get me going. I had not expressed any dire need or emergency and she absolutely(!) didn’t need to do that, but I am so grateful, because contacts are expensive and she bought me a few extra weeks. Thank you, Lacey. Keep setting the bar high. That was a breath of fresh air in customer service.

I've been using the optical departments at both Tumwater and Lacey for years and have always had excellent service with eye exams and the purchase of glasses. However, I have a special fondness for the Tumwater store. They are my go-to "drop in with a problem" store. I've had several nose pads replaced, as well as multiple screws on sunglasses that I didn't even buy there. I just pop in before I go shopping, and they've always helped me. Exceptionally warm and friendly. Thank you.
