Just to share my experience. My son visited walmart vision as a first time contact wearer 15 days ago. They had to order trials for him, no biggie....15 days later I call to find out they have 3 of the 4 contacts and are still waiting for the 4th to arrive. 15 days on trials?!?!? Really...that's terrible. Guess what day we needed them 16 day 16. So I ask, you have a left and a right...so why can we get into get him started now??? The gentleman said let me check....well they can...guess what, not on the day we actually needed them for. Not that this is life or death, but VERY inconvenient that we came in over 2 weeks ago and still do not have him in a pair of contacts. So, my question is how long have we had a right and left in...well I'll be finding that out when we go to our apt. Not sure if its a vendor issue or just a procedure issue, but one that definitely needs exploring or taken to a higher level. The optometrist is really kind and sweet. I also didnt have an issue with the staff, just the situation.

Gave me glasses to big to set right on my nose. Tried to get them to give me different glasses, they horses me around trying to adjust them until my warranty ran out , and then said that's just the way it will have to be. Use nose pads from now on. The manager is VERY unsympathetic and Very un caring. If you want Supermarket glasses at Supermarket prices then go to Walmart. If you want professional eye care go to professional eye center.
My family and I have been going here for years. Always friendly and amazing. I have terrible vision so they have worked with me so that I am able to wear both contacts and glasses. They always have a large selection of frames and they come in super fast! Jeff has picked out 4 pairs of the glasses I have worn over the years, Dr Bryan has a machine to see the total health of your eye and is so helpful and friendly, and Carrie has been there at least 10 years. Love them ❤️
Be aware- these are independent contractor vision doctors who don't care about customer service. I just called to ask if they could check if a trial pair of contacts were in stock for my prescription, and they told me I can't check over the phone. I have to come in for an appointment. I asked if my doctor who conducted my vision exam could call me back and he said "no she doesn't call people back". Why did I just pay $125? Due to this horrible customer service, they will not earn my business. If you are unhappy with your service, make sure to get your prescription and just order from 1-800-Contacts instead of Walmart.
We will never return again. We got there at 9 when they open the lights were on but nobody was there to take the ropes down. We waited 20 minutes and finally they came from over in the customer service center area. After we found the glasses my daughter wanted we sat there for another hour waiting on them to figure out how to pull up our insurance they kept saying it wouldn't work. So after an hour they told me I could go do my grocery shopping then come back and things should be ready for me to pay. I returned at 11 the rope were back up, they were already on their first break (they weren't even opened 2 hours yet🤦♀️) so I could not finish getting my daughters glasses. So I decided to leave and when I walked outside they were outside talking, so I told them to cancel what they were doing and I was taking my business elsewhere. I went to another glasses store (not another walmart optical)and they had no issues with my insurance and got done within 30 minutes! This was so beyond frustrating and a waist of time.
