I want to recognize Diane at the Walmart Vision Center. She has always been kind, professional, and helpful. Recently, while my son and I were waiting for service, I watched her deal with an extremely rude customer who made disrespectful and personal comments toward her. Diane remained patient, composed, and professional throughout the entire interaction while still helping him with his frames. Employees like Diane make a real difference and deserve to be recognized. Customers should remember that the people helping us deserve the same respect we expect to receive—especially employees who have dedicated years to serving their community. And Walmart, employees like Diane deserve recognition and a well-earned raise. Good customer service is about more than prices; it’s about the people behind the name. Be kind, show respect, and make it a nice day.

My kids and myself went to our appointment the end of January. We had our exams ad well as my son have a contact exam. Well, the exams went pretty bad, which we never experienced here before. They gave my son a bad prescription for lenses. So they ordered 2 trial pairs. So he went in to get them and it was too strong. Doctor told my son to try it for a week and if it's still bad come back and they'll do the exam again for free. My son went back for the new exam and they ordered him new lenses. So they gave my son an appointment for this Thursday but we had to call to reschedule. Well when I called they said the doctor won't be back until the end of next week. Why did they give him an appointment for a day the doctor won't be there? Then they didn't even call to let us know. Instead they decided to keep sending text messages to confirm the appointment. It's almost April going on 2 months of dealing with bullshit. My son still doesn't have the new lenses and we paid almost 103 in total thats with my insurance. So I said let him see the other doctor it's fine. Well they won't even squeeze him in. So my son had been struggling to see for almost 2 months not even talking about the damage it's causing to his eyes. I want a full refund for the contact exam as they can't even get the test right and for the lenses. We paid for. I will never return there this place went down big time. The workers are super rude the doctor is super chill and laid back too bad he has horrible employees working there with bad customer service experience they belong in a mail room or similar to stay away from customers. I am calling the Walmart vision company service as well. I will take him to a different eye doctor and his eyes were damaged any further I will put a lawsuit against them. Stay far far far away from them. Target, jcpenny any other department store has to better than this vision center
I have purchased my glasses and contact lenses at Walmarts Vision Center and have had my eyes examined there as well. I'm very satisfied with my eye exams and love my glasses and contacts. The prescription in my glasses were made perfectly! I do recommend them! They carry designer and name brand frames as well.
Lenses about 200 more than others. Won't tell me pupilary distance unless I buy them so I have to pay their high prices. Can just use an app for pupilary distance and order online for 1/3rd the cost. Can give rx but not pupilary distance for liability? Don't think so.
We had the opportunity to visit Walmart optical on Gatlin to purchase new glasses. We were blessed to be assisted by Diane. Diane is truly a jewel...her personality is larger than her. She is very warm and outgoing and puts you at ease. Most of all her customer service skills are the very best. She takes the time to really get to know her customers and explains the process as it develops. She listens..and she makes things so simple and easy. It was indeed a pleasure to meet and have her guide us through the entire process. The manager of the optical department is Patrick and he employs the same values as Diane, which in our opinion make them an awesome team. What the two of them share with their customers is very rare and is a dying art. It was such a blessing to share time with both Patrick and Diane. Others can learn from them. Bud & Margaret Copeland
