The optician isnt bad but the staff here are oretty awful. I went in to get my glasses adjusted so one of the ladies took them to the back and returned a few minutes later. I tried them on to see if they fit ok and instantly noticed something was wrong with my lenses, they were fogged over but it wouldn't wipe off. This woman didnt remove my lenses when she took a heat gun to the glasses and burned them! To which she said, "dang i was worried that would happen." Honestly the dumbest thing i have ever seen a "professional" do. They did at least replace them but when i went to go pick them up(I had to call to see if they were there btw casue they neglected to inform me) I drove 30 minutes, arrived 15 minutes before close and one of the ladies was closing shop while makin up some bs excuse as to why she couldnt just go back in real quick and give me the glasses they damaged. Even had a bit of an attitude with me because i was, in my opinion, justifiably upset. Some of the most lazy and inconsiderate faculty i have ever seen in this field and i would jever recommend anyone use the blue ridge wal mart vision center.
Dr. Barrow is a wonderful, kind and caring doctor. No matter what we've gone in for, he treats the situation with a gentle attentive approach and explains everything. We feel very blessed to have him as our doctor.
They cancelled my appointment and tried to reschedule me for a full two months after my original appointment, while refusing to work with me to avoid missing work. I get that sometimes you have to reschedule, but to put me all the way at the very back of the waiting list after doing it is rude.
I was in an accident and broke my glasses and was pleasantly surprised when Ann, one of the technicians in the Optical center, was nice enough to repair them for me. I thought for sure I'd be without glasses until l could find somewhere with an open appointment and have to wait a long time. She fixed them up and saved me from not being able to drive or work for awhile. She saved me from a lot of time, loss of money and aggravation! Thank you Ann! A big thank you to her and the other 2 ladies working with her tonight.
