Failed to submit to insurance on contact purchase for two years (2020 and 2021). Vision employee incorrectly stated we had a different insurance than what was on file with them. Then chose not to submit because the insurance she kept stating we had incorrectly would deny it and did not inform the customer that she would not submit it. This caused us to pay a significant amount more out of pocket and now have to try to submit it back to insurance ourselves to reclaim our benefit. Walmart Vision is an In Network Provider for our insurance which should have billed on our behalf. Update 3/2024: I decided to give them another chance as I really like the Dr. I called for appointment that was several weeks out and gave insurance information at that time. Four hours before appointment, I get a call that they cannot login to the insurance portal so I cannot use my insurance for the appointment. My only option to have my appointment that day is to pay the full exam price and order my glasses at a later time. Second strike is it for me, I am switching toCrosstown who also takes my insurance and was more than happy to set me up an appointment for the next week.

I had my eyes examined and ask for the prescription card because I wanted to order glasses from an online vendor. I ordered 3 pair of classes, two regular and one sunglasses. When they came I could not see out of one eye through them. I went back to the Walmart center and they checked the prescription. They had written it down wrong on one eye when they gave me the card. I talked to the vision manager and he gave me a corrected card and said that is all he can do. I am out 3 pair of glasses. Good luck.
The doctor is good. I bought frames online from Rayban, gave to vision center to make the lenses and they bent the frames during the process. I’ve taken them back several times and no fix.
Eye Dr is amazing! Front staff could use a little help in the customer service department. They are never sitting out front, but instead back in the office so they never look open. You either stand out front waiting for someone to notice you or you have to call the store for them to come out of the office to answer the phone for them to realize it was you trying to get someone's attention.
The Staff is helpful kind and courteous in finding the best glasses or contacts The Eye Dr is always A+
