I want to preface my review by stating to you that for the last seven years, I have been unable to wear contacts due to scratchiness and what I thought was dry eye. I went to my appointment today with Dr. Kathy Halverson, and my experience was absolutely life-changing. In the last seven years since I Gave up trying to wear contacts, I have seen over five optometrists and NONE of them have ever asked me questions to figure out why contacts stopped working for me. Dr. Halverson did. She was thorough During the exam, gave me options, Followed through with explaining to me how my immune disorders could be affecting my eye health, and after Setting me up with a pair of contacts, she asked me how they felt and even checked how they were sitting on my eyes which I have NEVER had an optometrist do for me before. She was clearly able to see that the contacts were too small for my eye shape, which was Causing them to suction cup to my eyeball with no movement. She explained how this could be causing the symptoms that I have been experiencing for over a decade, which eventually led to me giving up on contacts completely and switching to glasses. I finally have an answer to why contacts were not working for me, and now have a pair of contacts that feel so wonderful in my eyes I can’t even notice they are there! She went so above and beyond to give me the best care possible, and she has truly changed my life. No more headaches from wearing glasses, no more earaches from trying to get them to fit my ears correctly, no more struggling with them fogging or falling down my nose because of the weight of my prescription lenses and various frames. I feel completely free and like a brand new person and so happy to be able to live my life to the fullest now. Dr. Halverson, I cannot thank you enough. If I could give her 100 stars, I would. If you struggle with contacts or have questions about your eyes that are going unanswered, please go see Dr. Halverson, an excellent optometrist who TRULY cares.

I’d like to express my appreciation to Mary in the vision center. I had some issues with my insurance and projected my frustration on her. Not at all smart on my part. She interacted with me in a professional manner and not only afforded me more patience than I deserved, she took her time filling out the paperwork I brought even though there were other people that needed help. Once again, I appreciate your help.
What a wonderful, positive experience getting new glasses and getting my old glasses repaired. The ladies that work here are friendly professional and have smiles on their faces!!
I decided to give them a try after having problems getting fitted for contacts at my regular eye doctor. The lady doctor there took her time and listened to my issue. I thought I was going to have to go back to glasses but she got it right the first time! Finally after 3 years of struggling with contacts, I finally have a pair that I can see out of all the time and don't irritate my eyes. Also, the receptionist/ eye tech is so friendly, nice and excellent customer service. I was skeptical because it's Walmart, but they did not disappoint. Hands down it's a great place.
Giving 1 star because you have to I would do -5 if possible. 3 long months and no contacts. I got a prescription for glasses that were terrible, returned those a few days later and intended to discuss the prescription with the doctor upon returning for my contact trials. I called two weeks after the exam, no trials, finally a month later, if get a call my trials were in, the prescription was wrong, so bad that i had a terrible headache. Upon returning to see her, turned out she had my right eye instead of my left as my dominant eye. Never in 50 years has anyone screwed that up with my exam. waiting 2 more months and called several times, no trials, they're on back order. They should have told me there were issues instead of taking my money and never providing the the lenses. I found out about supply issues after I paid. I spoke with the owner and he doesn't want to return my full exam because the doctor "did the work" and HE paid her. But she did it WRONG. They did return partial, but after all that, should be a full refund. So he said he would, when I said you need to, he told me to find another provider, BA HA HA!!!, like that was necessary. Meanwhile I have no insurance and have to pay for another exam somewhere else. I have never had to return a pair of glasses or trials in my whole 50 years of wearing them. Never trust these people to take care of you. Especially if there's an issue. update he gave the full refund. But only after pitched a fit.
