The lady who works at the Walmart vision center was super nice to me! She helped me with the “cat-eyed” glasses that fits my insurance budget! The best part is the one year warranty, even though it was not covered by insurance, but I’m so glad I paid for it! I highly recommend Walmart Vision Center in Mount Airy, even though this is my first visit, I will definitely return to this place every year! Five stars! ⭐️

I was notified that my mom's eye glasses was ready for pick up went there at 10 am to pick up and was told that an optometrist was not there and we couldn't pick up glasses why? They were paid for and and we didn't need optometrist
They were able to get me in with one hours notice for a contact lens exam when mine tore. They were professional, speedy, and the doctor was awesome, he answered all my questions, had a great demeanor and was very knowledgeable. You can tell this office is staffed with people who actually care and who enjoy what they do, and that is such a rarity these days. Rest assured I will be making the 40+ minute drive every time I need glasses or contacts.
Went by yesterday to fill eye contact prescription. They said they were just filling in and worked at another location. They did not have the login and told me to call back today. I came back today. Extremely slow; I stood in line for over 30 minutes while one person was get fitted for glasses by an employee. Another employee had issues with her computer but her co worker was busy fitting the one customer with glasses and didn’t have time to help. That coworker sat in front of her customers helpless because she had issues with the computer. 3 people in front of me walked way after standing in line longer than me. They were still waiting on the same people when I gave up and left around 45 minutes later.
Vision center closed with no warning and unable to pick up my glasses on my one day off. Do not use the Mt. Airy,NC vision center.
