I used to come here for years just for a quick check up and prescribing medication, but after yesterday's appointment, it left me traumatized and it was so chaotic there. One of the receptionist/front desk staff with brown hair that when she faces the TV, she's on the right side. She is very rude and seems to not like her job at all. As I was asking the person on her left about my insurance, she would just insert herself and asked in chinese, "what's the issue" as I'm trying to explain to the other person that my insurance should not require a copay for annual check preventive care. The other issue is the younger employee that does blood tests and EKG. She is extremely rough, rude, loud, and always in a rush for some reason. She makes a lot of unnecessary and sarcastic comments. She complains that my veins are very difficult to find but whenever the older employee that also does blood test, she pokes me one time and it's done. I've seen the younger employee there for a few years, how is she still this inexperienced and rough? The only positive review I can give is the NP that I saw. Her last name is Lin and she was compassionate and asked all the questions necessary and did not make me feel rushed, and it seemed like she cared for what I had to say. She even gave me suggestions where my specialty doctor did not even recommend to me. All that said, I will not be returning to this location and change my PCP to another place because this place has changed for the worst. It used to be manageable but now it's a place of chaos and terrible service.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of communication, coordination, and professionalism from this office. A treatment requiring insurance authorization was delayed from the start because paperwork was initially submitted to the wrong insurance company. After the authorization was finally approved, there was little to no follow-through from the office to coordinate with the pharmacy and insurance company, leaving the patient and family to spend countless hours making calls and trying to move the process forward ourselves. What was especially frustrating was the lack of internal communication. A representative from the specialty pharmacy told us they repeatedly tried to contact the office but were unable to get through because staff were “too busy” and told her to "keep trying." After eventually reaching a nurse and providing important information, that information apparently was not communicated to the appropriate staff members, resulting in further delays and confusion. On multiple occasions, we found ourselves relaying information between the pharmacy, insurance company, and doctor’s office because no one seemed to be communicating with one another. What is most frustrating is that an essential medication was delayed for months due to administrative failures that were entirely preventable. The authorization had already been approved, yet there appeared to be little sense of urgency or accountability in ensuring the treatment moved forward. Patients should not have to spend weeks acting as intermediaries between a doctor’s office, insurance company, and pharmacy just to receive an approved treatment. Throughout this process, we received more proactive communication and assistance from the insurance company and pharmacy than from the office responsible for coordinating care. To make matters worse, interactions with the front desk were often dismissive and unhelpful, adding to an already stressful situation. I understand that healthcare offices are busy, but patients deserve timely communication, proper follow-up, and basic coordination of patient care. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling unsupported and overlooked.

Very rude front desk. I called to ask for details regarding the service they provide but they are not patience and did not want to provide more details. She ended the call super quickly.
