Christina is rude and forgets there in the business of selling glasses not enforcing policies. They try to enforce late appointment fees when they were the ones to make the appointment mistakes. Don’t waste your time with this lady very ignorant and rude I would not want her representing my practice Dr. Emerson is a great guy I wonder if he is aware his staff is costing him patients. Taking my business elsewhere.

Staff and Dr. are great and friendly. Got there early for my appointment and was brought right in. Dr. was very helpful and got right to the eye exam. Of course, I can't say this happens all the time, but my visit was great.
Dr. Emerson was great answered all my concerns. My 5 year old felt comfortable. We got her glasses back quick and the staff was awesome.
I thought I would be a long time patient in this office unfortunately Dr. Emerson’s staff the receptionist and one of his Opticians named Christina we’re very rude and became very defensive when I called to check on a warranty for my sons frame that I paid $$$ and just picked up on Friday! I will be reaching out to VSP about this matter and will not be back they just lost 3 patients. This is a small town and it is very important to practice good Customer Service skills. I have been in the industry for many years and I know how entitled Optician’s can be. The solution to my issue could have been delivered professionally this was not the case . I would have said from the start “Oh I’m sorry to hear your sons temple broke please bring it in and we will evaluate where it is broken and do our best to submit it as a manufacturers defect. But instead I got from the receptionist you can call Luxottica and check on the warranty then offered to have an optician call back named Christina she had an attitude very entitled told me the warranty was only 1 yr and needs to be manufacture only which is not the truth I work for Essilor. Then when I matched her energy and explained that the warranty is not that complicated she proceeded to tell me not to talk to her that way? So unprofessional and I feel sorry for anyone who has to come back with an issue and experience this confrontational type of behavior. I will be writing a letter to Dr. Emerson he is a very nice optometrist but unfortunately you are only as good as your staff. On a positive note I did like the optician who helped us unfortunately I do not know her name. She was very professional but it only takes one bad seed.
He’s quick answers your concerns and questions. He’s funny makes a conversation to not feel awkward. They took my healthcare insurance. We got the glasses back quick.
