I am so grateful to Western Carolina Eye Associates! We’re in town for a wedding when my glasses broke, leaving me completely unable to drive. I called basically the moment they opened, and they told me to bring them in for a free repair. My glasses were fixed within 5 minutes, and the sweet lady even noticed my nose pads were chipped and replaced them too. Truly a 10/10 experience — such kind, helpful people!
I'd give 10 stars if I could. I was on vacation in Banner Elk this past week. While there my eye situation became worse. I had gone to a quick care back home 2 weeks prior to my scheduled vacation where the Dr prescribed an eye drop that was incorrect. Went to my primary care physician for a referral to see an Opthalmologist.That appointment was set for the day after returning from vacation but I could no longer wait, I had to see an eye Dr immediately. My amazing Airbnb host found the Dr for me and they accepted my insurance! Dr. Blair Holden is phenomenal!!!! The eye drops she prescribed were already working within 2 applications! The staff was so nice and they got me in within hours of my call. I highly recommend them if you find yourself in need.
I would like to say thank you to Amber, the front desk receptionist, Ashley, Cassie, and there's one other girl that I am forgetting. My apologies. Western eye care has been amazing. They have provided excellent professional customer service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for for an eye Doctor or glasses They will most definitely take care of you.
The one in boone takes better care of you , I went in to get my glasses adjusted.And she told me that my ears were crooked , that did not change the fact that my glasses were warped , so I went to boone and had them fixed in under seven minutes.
I recently visited WCEA in Banner Elk for my annual checkup. As always and gratefully, the lovely staff were there to assist me with each step. And the bonus is, the staff is the very same that took care of me the last three visits, Very nice to see little or no turnover. From the front desk to the closed door exam, everyone is friendly and accommodating. I love that it’s a one stop experience. I was able to select reasonably priced frames from a wide selection and with my prescription in hand they did the rest!! I feel fortunate to have this team so close by to answer my vision needs.
