I recently accompanied my husband for his eye check-up with Dr. Daskas, and we had an excellent experience. Both Dr. Daskas and the male eye technician who assisted us were extremely professional, thorough, and compassionate throughout the entire visit. The technician was especially meticulous and made sure every test and check was done properly and carefully. Although I unfortunately forgot his name, his attention to detail and dedication to doing things right really stood out. Dr. Daskas was equally wonderful. She has outstanding bedside manners, takes the time to listen, and truly goes above and beyond for her patients. We especially appreciated that she provided additional low vision recommendations and resources to help with my husband’s limited vision. We highly recommend Dr. Daskas, her team, and the Westlake Eye Specialists in Killeen for anyone looking for attentive, knowledgeable, and caring eye care professionals.

From the time I came in the front door and later spoke to the scheduling specialist. I was treated with respect and high quality professional care. At no time did I feel I was a commodity being pushed thru their system. Focused procedures were explained and executed in a manner that allowed me to voice my input and concernes. I believe we reached a solution that will markedly improve my eyesight for the rest of my life!!!

I needed to reschedule my appointment, I was able to get an appointment the following week. I asked lots of questions and all of my questions got respectful, clear and concise answers. The eye exam equipment was used by a technician who knew just how to properly use it, and ensured that I could trust my optical prescription was correct. When I saw the opthalmologist after, she also made sure that my eyes were healthy, my optical prescription was correct and that sooner or later I would need cataract surgery, but for now, I could rely on new glasses. She explained the procedure for cataract surgery, the difference in new lenses and the pricing options for each. I came away very well educated about my whole opthamolgical expected outcomes. The entire office, from intake, waiting room and examination was excellent! Everyone was exceptionally professional and I have now recommended Westlake Eyes to others already.

This review is specifically inregards to Christina in billing. She's nasty in her responses. The way she has made me feel the one time I've been in her office has been extremely unprofessional. Then the phone call I made to her this morning was uncalled for. The way you spoke to me. The way you attacked me verbally, you need additional training on how to handle your anger and how you speak to individuals. I'm sorry Christina I'm AHEAD on my payments, but that gives you no right to speak the way you did to me. I've been through enough in my journey with cancer, and you just know how to make an individual feel like their health isnt important to you.

My in take process was professional and cordial. There was no waste of my time which is very important to me. I walked away from my appointment with confidence knowing that this facet of my health care was assessed efficiently and effectively. I rarely recommend anyone but I have no issues recommending Westlake Eye Specialists to a friend or family member, also I will be taking my kids there to have their eye exams done as well.
