Doctor Davin is awesome!!! He’s very insightful, professional, patient & good-humored. I learned a lot about my eye that I haven’t been thoroughly informed about at my previous optometrist. He patiently showed me what the scans & 3D visuals mean & explained them in a way that’s easy to understand for those not in his line of work. He also asked of any concerns I have if any & gave space to listen & make any recommendations/suggestions. Highly recommend coming here, as he was highly recommended to me by a close friend as well who cited that Doc alleviated his headache! Staff was wonderful as well, Shereen & Keith!

I was temporarily in NYC when I was in a bind and needed a new contacts and glasses. Keith at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, getting me in for a same day appointment. Dr. Dong was personable, attentive, and very professional during my appointment. When there was an unfortunate issue with my glasses, the team was so emphatic and went above and beyond to get it resolved. If I lived in NYC, this office would be my FIRST choice for eye care! Thank you Keith and Dr. Dong! You are truly the best!
Dr Dong and the staff are great. Dr Dong takes time for a check up and if there are any questions he takes time to explain and suggests what is good for the eyes. Doctor and the staff are always friendly and appointments are on time. I have been visiting Dr. Dong for my annual check ups for many years and even though I moved to the East side I will continue to visit him for my annual eye exams. I would definitely recommend him as the best optometrist.
Dr. Dong and the whole team are really lovely. I’ve been his patient for many years at this point and he is always on time and thorough. Highly recommend!
Updating on 11/4/25 based on their response - Dr. Dong. and the staff are very friendly but my last appointment and their response below on blaming the patient has led me to find another provider next time. I went in April 2025 for my eye exam and decided to wait for my contact exam later in the year. Below they're now saying I was declined but this is the first time I've ever heard this. I brought in my own frames and paid >$100 for the new glasses. I went in a second time in August 2025 for my contact exam but had irritated eyes so it turned into a medical appointment that they had told me beforehand but without warning how much it would cost because I thought it would be under my insurance, another >$100. The third time in October 2025 was for my contact lenses exam and ordered a pair of contact lenses boxes but later the same day, received a call from them that I had already used my insurance allowance and needed to pay the difference when I had already paid >$150 inclusive of the allowance. Apparently, I had already used the insurance allowance on my glasses(without my knowledge but they have claimed to explain the breakdown verbally) so I requested to cancel the order and they agreed to refund me for the boxes. It is frustrating to see the below that the office tried to display solving a client's frustration because I did have a conversation with the office via phone to satisfy my contact needs but was told to call my insurance instead because there was nothing they could do so if they had tried to call again, they did not leave a voicemail. I specifically chose this vision plan so I can get a portion of contact lenses boxed covered so I would have appreciated the transparency and breakdown on the costs in advance that they were using the allowance on my glasses instead of finding out through my statement of claims on what exactly they charged my insurance on the first visit. Based on my 3 previous visits this year, I'm going to find another provider and ask for an itemized receipt to avoid the frustrations above. I'd advise the office to reflect on the constructive feedback to avoid the frustrations above for any potential, new patients.
