I had my first visit to this practice today. Wait time for the preliminary exams was about 10 minutes. Waited about another 10 for the doctor. The exam was relaxed and thorough. Robert Galban explained all the parts of the exam and what was found. All is good. He gave me a new prescription. Then I headed next door for glasses at Lens Crafters.

I had two visits to this practice, one for my initial prescription and another to correct blurry lenses. While the situation ended with a refund, the doctor’s demeanor was surprisingly curt. Regardless of experience, I believe professionalism and respectful communication are essential. I didn’t experience that here, and it made resolving my vision issue difficult.
When I made my appointment over the phone, they confirmed they took my insurance. I received a text message 2 days prior to my appointment stating they could not locate my insurance coverage, and requesting I send over my insurance card I sent it the same day but heard nothing back. The next morning, I contacted them to confirm they had verified my insurance. They affirmed they had and proceeded to send over my welcome paperwork to complete prior to the appointment. I completed paperwork the same day. The next day, I arrived on time to my appointment, only to be told that they actually did not verify my information. Rather than even a simple apology, the front desk person asked if I wanted to pay out of pocket instead. Their pre-appointment procedure was negligent, there was no accountability for their missteps or mishandling of my insurance information, and no acknowledgement of the time I spent, just to end up with a cancelled appointment.
I was seen early on a Saturday morning as a walk-in with an eye emergency. The reception was very kind and efficient. The Doctor was very detailed in his explanation of my condition and followed me closely the next week. I was lucky to find this practice and avoid a costly ER visit.
Wow, this place is so kind and efficient. First time here and I have never in my 60 years have had this kind of excellent service from a Dr.'s office. They have all the latest equipment to check your eyes as well.
