I visited the Queen Street office about 5 and 1/2 weeks ago. My glasses were paid for and supposed to be ordered. It's now been 5 weeks, and no one is even returning my calls to. Let me know what's going on with my order. I have been a patient for over 10 years, and I've always had good experiences. I'm very disappointed in the service that I'm receiving. I wish I could give a good review but did not even be able to talk to a person or have anyone return your call and give you some peace of mind. It's just very unprofessional in my opinion

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Yealy Eye Care. There is a consistent lack of accountability when it comes to scheduling appointments are frequently canceled on their end, and when that happens, there’s little to no effort made to prioritize rescheduling in a timely manner. Communication is another major issue. When calling with questions, staff often seem unsure or unable to provide clear answers, which makes an already frustrating situation worse. Unfortunately, most interactions have come across as unhelpful and, at times, rude. The only positive experience I’ve had has been with the manager, Angie, who is professional and helpful. However, one person alone cannot make up for the overall lack of organization, customer service, and reliability. I would not recommend this office based on my experience, especially if you value clear communication and dependable scheduling.
I went here because they were on my insurance provider list and my insurance provider logo is on their website, what could go wrong? When I went for my scheduled routine visit they told me it was 50/50 covered. If I have to do anything extra it won’t.l be. I said ok pls just the routine visit for glasses prescription and they replied as if that wasn’t an option and I was suddenly out in a helpless gambling position. I did not bring my medical card. I assuming something was flagged for special medical treatment that would be a separate appointment like all dentists do? Mmkay.. So I changed my whole day around and went there for nothing and I’m completely confused. They were also RUDE about it. This is one star for Yealy and one star for insurance in general.
My daughter and I stopped in on Friday morning in a contact emergency. We're from Ohio and were in town for a basketball tournament and my daughter had forgotten her contacts at home. Cue the 16 year old dramatics! Thank God for Stephanie who helped us with trials and let my daughter try them on to make sure they were the same as her prescription. We are so grateful for her kindness and would definitely recommend all the locals use this facility! Caring staff who go above and beyond! Thank you Stephanie for saving our weekend!
Bad experience. First, they give you an appointment at a certain time and end up seeing you 40 minutes later. Second, for a warranty claim on a glasses frame, they tell you that you have to leave the glasses there for 2 or 3 weeks while they “resolve” the issue. The lenses were not damaged — it was only the frame — so I found that waiting time excessive, especially because my son has a very strong prescription. On top of that, I called on Wednesday about the warranty, and they could not see us until Friday. When I arrived, they told me they were canceling the warranty because the frame had a small piece of plastic tape holding the lens in place, something that did not affect the lenses at all. Previously, I had come in for a warranty issue with my other son, and the same employee who attended me today had placed the exact same tape on his frame to hold the lens while we waited for the new ones to arrive. However, it seems that today she was not in the mood, and she canceled my son’s glasses warranty, even though it was valid until September of this year. Now I have to make a huge expense simply because she decided to cancel it.
