I am so grateful for Dr. Kim and the entire staff at Eye Sight Solutions Optometry. The level of care I have received has been exemplary. I recently had concerns about eye health and Dr. Kim did a thorough exam and patiently explained what to expect now that my vision is being affected by age related changes. Office staff have always helped me to find frames within my budget, and have done a great job working with changes to my benefits over time. When I had an issue with one particular pair of glasses, the staff worked diligently with me to make sure the lab got the lenses right. Communication is consistent and professional, questions are answered promptly, and the staff is always cheerful. I absolutely recommend this practice.

I had a wonderful experience during my recent eye exam. The doctor was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making me feel comfortable throughout the visit. I also want to thank Emma Grace at the reception desk for her friendly attitude, efficiency, and excellent customer service. She made the entire process smooth and welcoming. Highly recommend this office for their outstanding care and professionalism!
Dr. Kim is excellent. And her staff is fantastic. They are super knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this office. I have been a loyal patient for over 10 years. My prescription is complicated. I need bifocal and have astigmatism. I like to wear contacts. They helped me with multiple trial lenses to find the right fit and comfort. The service is excellent!
I recently visited and purchased contact lenses, and I had a great experience. The process was fast and efficient, and I received my lenses order within a week. The staff and doctor were all friendly, courteous, and professional. I really appreciated how smooth and easy everything was. Highly recommend!
I'd been coming here since 2000 when it was Dr Clark's optometry office and continued coming when Dr Kim took over ~ 2018. This review is on Dr Kim's office on fair business practice, and not on her service which I thought had been pretty decent. I had my annual eye examine scheduled with Dr Kim earlier this weekday at 10:30am. I live in San Jose now so it's a bit of drive due to morning commute traffic. I was already on the road at 9:45 when her office assistant called me and said Dr Kim has to cancel the 10:30 due to an emergency. That's fine and I totally understand. I was asked if I can come in at 4:30 later that day and I said "sure". But then the assistant said she'll call me later in the day to confirm the 4:30 appt. I'm like "wait, I had to adjust my schedule for this morning's appt and now the re-scheduled appt at 4:30 wouldn't be confirmed til later?". And I'd also emphasized that I don't want to move my afternoon schedule around for the 4:30 appt if she can't confirm til later. The assistant did apologize and so instead we re-schedule to a later future date since today's appt is just an annual exam to get new contact lenses and not an emergency. Lastly I'd asked is there any compensation for me driving to her office and the appt being cancelled while I'm already on the road, like a small discount on contact lens purchase which I do every year? The assistant said she'll asked Dr Kim and get back to me later. Later during the day, the assistant called back and said she spoken with Dr Kim and said 'no and said Dr Kim is sorry for canceling my appt this morning". That's it. I didn't even receive a phone call from Dr Kim herself, just hearing what her assistant relayed to me. It's not like I need a discount anyways but more in fair practice and principal that I'd pretty much wasted most of that morning for nothing and making me less bum about it. Many practices charges a fee if the patient cancels within 24 hrs. I believe this should go both ways for the customer and not only for the business, especially when I was already on the road driving to my appt that morning. Another thing that irked me back in 2018 or 19 with this office is I was overcharged $15 for my visit and contact lens purchase. It was only after they charged my credit card that I'd asked for an itemized receipt and I'd noticed while I was in the office that I was charged $15 over what the itemized receipt total says. The office assistant at that time asked Dr Kim in the back office if it's OK to process the $15 refund to my credit card. I thought having to ask that from the Dr was weird. But the assistant came back said "no, but we can apply this $15 as credit for next year's exam and we'll note this in your records". I said 'sure' seeing that it's only $15. So next year, I came back for my annual exam and at checkout mentioned the $15 credit from last year's exam from being overcharged and they said they have no record of it. I explained the situation and the assistant went to the back and asked the Dr and came back "sorry, no". I mean it's only $15 and really a customer that's been coming to this office for almost 20 years (again this was in 2018 or 2019) would try to scam the office out of $15(?). I didn't fuss anymore over it then, but just reminded how petty this office was/is. If one has been in their office, I highly suggest you ask for an itemized receipt before you hand over your credit card. Not once from this office had they voluntarily done this but every time I had to ask saying it's for my HSA records.
