ZOOM Vision Care Optometry – Milpitas

Doctor is excellent, my glasses are nice. Reception staff said they would email me my prescription but never did. When I went to pick up my new glasses that were $1200 staff refused to change the nose pads and adjust my glasses. I will go back to the doctor but probably not buy my glasses here in the future. I’ve worn glasses for 40 years and nobody has refused to adjust my new glasses, that’s ridiculous.

I got an eye exam here and it was an extremely smooth process. Dr Diana Huang did a great job and explained things very clearly. The folks at the front desk were also very friendly and immediately emailed me the prescription. I'll definitely come back to order glasses.

Worst customer service and bad ethics. The guy with glasses told me my insurance won’t cover a bunch of things for my lenses and wanted to charge me double the cost for prescription lenses. He just wants to fleece money. I ordered elsewhere for less than half the cost. Avoid this place like plague.

None of the staffs know about HIPAA regulations, rude manager named Will, horrible customer service. Zoom has violated at leas 3 HIPAA violations. All Will talks about is business and does not advocate for the optometrists working there. This is not healthcare, it’s a business. If you walk in and ask any staff about HIPAA regulations, they would give you a blank stare. They also have a lack of communication, lack of professionalism, lack of responsibility, lack of education, and lack of training for staffs. According to the phone call I had with Will, what I got out of that was the optometrists do not review your medical records precisely and they fail to diagnose eye conditions. Also, the phone call with Will was very rude and unprofessional. He yelled at me over the phone. Told me that he has treated my family like his, but that’s only true for my brother and father. Not once has he’s ever treated me like family. Who is he to raise his voice at me when their business is in the wrong? He wanted to clear the air with me through a phone call, but yelling is his way of clearing the air? He told me that I’m an adult, I can call. I’m not willing to wait another 30+ days to get a response back from them and never had he treated me like an adult. Ridiculous. These guys are highly unprofessional. They confirm the appointments 2 times by phone and when I go on the time at place then they say sorry-due to insurance eye check up can't be done. What!! Check all stuff before taking appointment. Kids also know this. Poor Management . No variety of glasses. Not a single piece of glasses worth the amount. Last choice.
