These were the best people I have ever dealt with in an emergency capacity! The kind ladies at the desk were able to locate a contact lenses using my prescription I emailed them after loosing a contact on vacation the day we were supposed to head back on a 2.5 hr drive! I called, emailed, and came in within 30 minutes I was walking out the door feeling taken care of and averting a crisis on my vacation and my birthday none the less!! The ladies on the doctors side were absolutely fantastic!

I brought in my very expensive, RayBan, prescription sunglasses, that were like 3yr old... bc my sister's dog got them off the table and chewed them up before anyone could realize... ruined. Anyway! I brought them into 20/20, to show someone the evidence. I had basically zero wait, went and sat down with a specialist. I wish I knew her name, because she was exceptional! And that's on me. But she was SO good!! Kind, Hispanic, late-20s, mother, long brown hair. I wish I knew her name, to give her kudos. Her, and the gentleman in the glasses area. I also don't remember his name either, UGH. But both were exceptional and extremely professional, while still having a personality! I knew I had a vision insurance reimbursement, for the new year. I have to wear glasses, hard stop. So because, for ME, they are something I have to use, take on-and-off, every day... I need my glasses to be legit. Which usually means spending some money. I was prepared to do that this day. Because I HAD to have a pair of prescription sunglasses. I drive up-valley every day, lol? So, I told her what I wanted, the vibe, what I hated, what I didn’t want, everything. She listened, then immediately took me to certain glasses in the store. Gave me like 10 options, had me try them on, and told me if they worked on my face frame or not. She gave me her honest input, which is EXACTLY what I wanted from her in that moment.. I know they can order whatever. But I need to try them on, and feel them.. and after about 25 minutes from walking in the door, she had THE frames identified, with me. Based on what I told her I wanted. I was stunned at how perfect they were!! My reimbursement covered the frames. The lenses are a different story. That's where MY cost came in. I did end up spending a little more than $250, out the door, on my new and upgraded sunglasses. (These will last me at LEAST 2-3 years, btw). For something that, for me, is necessary, that price tag wasn't bad. I'm also someone who HAS to take care of their sunglasses and glasses, because of how dependant I am on my prescription. So, if that's also YOU... I would STRONGLY recommend you going to 20/20 Eye Care, in Glenwood Springs, CO. Selection, customer service, and how EASY it all was... worth the price tag. And I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Only Con: Bc of my fancy lenses, it took 2 weeks to get in. But worth the wait!!

Dr. Laura Taylor is wonderful and always provides a thorough exam. I truly appreciate her dedication to finding the best contact lenses to fit my needs and her willingness to answer any questions I have. Vanessa on the optical side was also incredibly helpful and kind. She did a great job explaining the different glasses options and clearly walking me through the cost breakdown. Overall, it was a great experience!

Great experience. The staff and doctor were all incredibly kind and helpful - and at the end they helped me understand my vision insurance and what it covered so I could get my glasses / contacts that worked best for me

I was on vacation with my family when I was experiencing severe eye pain and discomfort with both of my eyes but I could barely open my right eye. This was the first place we seen and took the chance hoping someone could see me since we were out of state and I was a walk in with no appointment time with my toddler, husband, and MIL in the car. Not only were they able to fit me in to a time slot with little wait time, they accepted my insurance and treated me with care! The staff was very tentative towards my situation. I did have to pay the full visit price up front but was assured that if my out of state insurance processed then I would get refunded that portion. (which surprisingly my insurance processed as in network) and the office did follow through on their promise of sending a refund back to my account as well. The knowledgeable doctor informed me about my situation and called me in a prescription to the Walmart right next to the office, which was very convenient! Needless to say the Colorado air can be very dry and hard on eyes...but the staff at 20/20 Eyecare made it so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation. THANK YOU 😊 🙏
