Valley Vision

I had a medical eye issue and found Valley Vision through my insurance. It was my first visit and I was able to get in right away. Dr. Morrison was very helpful and thorough in his examination and treatment. I decided to go back later for my annual eye exam because of the top quality service and care. They also have a great selection of frames and sunglasses.

I love Dr Zwelling and her staff! All were very efficient and went out of their way to help me. Office is nicely decorated and clean. It was such a pleasure to be treated so well and low vision issues were taken care of.

I have been a patient at Valley Vision for 45 years spanning now 3 primary clinicians. I have never had a bad experience there! Dr. Zwelling and her staff continue the excellent care that has always been associated with the practice and I can't see myself ever going anywhere else.

Update: After I posted my review, Valley Vision contacted me promptly. The manager, Tim, called me personally to apologize for the delay and helped resolve the situation. He confirmed that my glasses were ready and invited me to come in to have them properly adjusted. They also provided a detailed invoice with the breakdown of the lenses and services, which I appreciated. I’m grateful that they took my concerns seriously and responded quickly to address the issue. Thank you to Tim and the team for following up and working to make things right. The glasses fit well after the adjustment. ————————— I had a disappointing experience with Valley Vision. I had my eye exam and ordered glasses on February 25 and paid over $500 in full at the time of the order. I have vision insurance, so part of the cost was covered. Without insurance, the total price would have been significantly higher. I was told the glasses would be ready in about two weeks. However, after two weeks passed, I had not received any phone call or update from the office. I had to call them myself to check the status. When I called, I was told that the glasses were already in the store but still needed to be checked by the optometrist. Several more days passed and I still did not receive any follow-up call. Another concern is that when I paid for the glasses, I was not given a receipt or clear documentation about the lenses I purchased. I was recommended several upgrades, including premium progressive lenses, photochromic lenses, blue light filtering, and anti-reflective coating, but I was never told the brand or model of the lenses. Considering the cost and the medical nature of prescription glasses, I expected clearer communication, proper documentation, and better customer service. I hope the office can improve communication and transparency for future patients. I would be happy to update this review if the situation is resolved and the service improves.
